I went into the store looking to buy a Samsung TV and was convinced by a sales rep to purchase the Sony 4k TV as it had supposedly had better picture and was an all around better TV. Besides live sports the picture quality is very poor, dull and cloudy background picture. Since day one I've had nothing but issues with this TV, the initial set up took over an hour and the TV had a real hard time connecting to my wireless. While watching TV every 15 to 20 minutes the picture blacks out for 2-3 seconds almost like the it's resetting. When your watching Google Play or Netflix a screen saver pops up in the middle of your movie so you have to hit play every 20 minutes or so. The Sony Support team has worked on the TV remotely several times, but the issues have not been resolved. They've told be someone would be out to look at the TV, but that has not occurred either and its been several weeks. Very dissapointed in both the TV and Service of Sony. Do not purchase this TV, and if you do buy the extended warranty through best buy,

Purchased 4K TV after Plasma died. Great picture with stunning 4K programming. Sony has the quality and craftsmanship that I expected and I haven't been disappointed. Great for gaming too.

In the course of my work as a Dish technician, I get to see TVs in people's homes all day long. I can honestly say that this TV puts 98% of all that I see to shame. The picture is amazing, and when it says "Upscale Everything You Watch", it's not lying. I have a variety of video sources, some of which I thought would look bad.on this 65" screen. This TV makes them look better than they did on my 40" Samsung. Sony for the win!!

great picture right out of the box..4 days after I bought it, it went down $200 in price.. went back over to best buy and they refunded the money.. no problems what so ever....

The android software is very slow and it should never be put on the smart TV. I feel my google account privacy is being invade and violated by my guest that want to mess around my account.

I'm Sony brand user for more than 35 years. This is a good 4K TV with great price and Bestbuy also offers great service!!!!

Although we have only had this for a few months I love it. The Picture and its quality is perfect. At a good price as well.

Ok picture but the Android OS is a disaster. Crashes and resets frequently. Changing volume the tv goes to home screen then gets stuck there. Crackle app interrupts randomly. Can't update firmware because can't connect even when all other network internet functions are working fine...

Really happy with the HD TV. Had it for several weeks and it's been working great. The size is really a plus!

Bought this TV 3 months ago and the tv shuts off on its own contacted sony but still waiting for response ..

I've had LG, Vizio, ans Samsung. Sony is the worst of the group. Picture is so dark and no matter what I do I can not get a brighter picture without losing crispness. Colors are not as bright either. Of all these my LG by far is the best. I will never stray from LG again.

I bought this TV in December 2015, Christmas time. We installed it in January. In 3-weeks, the screen cracked. Yes, the screen cracked. It is the INTERNAL layer of the screen, so there is not a single scratch on the outside. I can tell you this - if anything ever goes wrong with your Samsung TV, forget about customer service. In all my years, Samsung has hands-down the WORST customer service of ANY product that I have ever purchased. Samsung will not answer your calls, put you on hold for HOURS, their service reps will not answer your calls and you are pretty much on your own. Check out the CNET Samsung forum about issues with cracked screens. This is a common problem and has affected their TVs right from their plasma days. Do NOT buy Samsung. It is, in my opinion, not a risk worth taking. My $1500.00 just went down the drain. In THREE weeks.

I purchased this model but with 3D, the problem here is Sony has made it difficult to get the calibration just right without paying another $300. I contacted the Geek Squad about the calibration but for some reason the rep, Josh he said, became condescending and rude. I asked to speak to a supervisor and that's when he hung up on me. I expressed my dissatisfaction on Face Book about the encounter but all they would offer are apologies and at no time asked any details about the call to maybe listed to the recorded version. At some point Best Buy removed the post. I have several big purchases coming up but I will most likely be shopping Amazon for now. As far as the calibration, I do plan on using an ISF certified tech but not the Geek Squad. The previous Sony models were much better. If Best Buy cannot be a loyal retailer then I don't need to be a loyal customer.

My girlfriend bought this TV from the Independence blvd store in Virginia Beach. She also bought an additional 499.99 insurance because the store rep told her she'd be protected for pretty much anything. We had the TV for 2 months when a line appeared that we ignored, it spread and now we cant see anything through the screen. No damage was done to the TV but Sony and best buy said they would not replace or fix the TV. The TV was not dropped or hit in any way, the damage is clearly internally. DO NOT BUY THIS MODEL unless you have $3,000 to waste.

I have had this TV since 2016 and all of my Sony devices including my PS5 pictures are very good.

I can't believe how poor the quality of this tv is. It looked so bright in the store. It must be there demo. This tv is dark and ugly. It's hard to even see people's faces. I'm watching it right now and I can't see a thing. I added a picture it actually looks as bat as the picture. My old plasma was twice as bright. To be honest I will never buy a single Sony product ever again. I will be returning this in the morning. I wish I could return it tonight. I feel victim to buying such a poor product and now I have to spend more money to return it.

I really appreciate this TV since since it's an upgrade from my previous 60 inch 1080p. The resolution is crisp and clean and integrates very well via Wi-Fi for utilizing apps.
