As for the auto-dimming feature, you can easily turn it on or off by following these steps: Press the Quick Settings button on your remote, then go to Display & Sound → Picture → Light Sensor, and click Off or On. This feature adjusts the screen brightness based on your surroundings. In darker environments, the brightness is reduced to prevent eye strain. However, we regret to learn about the daily reboots and occasional freezing issues you are encountering. This is certainly not the experience we strive to provide.

We are aware that some customers have reported similar reboot problems with the BRAVIA 7 series TVs, particularly when a cable box is connected via HDMI. To address this, we have recently released a firmware update (version 112.628.050.1, released on 12/16/2024) that resolves the issue causing the TV to unexpectedly restart when connected to certain set-top boxes or media players through HDMI.
