I actually get my TV on July 9th and I am really excited to get it. I have been in the store to look at it a few times and the picture is just outstanding. Once I get it and get to watch it in my home I will update my review. Not sure how only 2 HDMI ports that are 2.1 will affect the set up.

Bought this tv for my father for his birthday, he’s been so happy with this purchase I think it’s the best tv we seen in a while.

The picture is great, my issues are with the stand and the sound. The sound is horrible. The mid and upper frequencies are harsh and "tinny" sounding. Ive tried using the equalizer to tame the problem but now it sounds dull and the harshness is still there. I think its in the amp or crossover because if i connect my surround processor (i have to use optical, my surround processor doesn't have hdmi) the harshness is still there. I'm very disappointed in the sound, especially since I've read good reviews of it. I'm starting to think i have a defective unit. The stand, while there's nothing wrong with it per se, protrudes forward of the tv by a good amount, 6 , 7 inches. So the screen is set back from the edge of my stand by 7 inches. This is absolutely not a problem for most people, and honestly i don't know what else they could do. It is pretty stable. For me, i can't move my center channel speaker back flush with screen so i have to rest my delay. Also i need to move my left and right speakers back so they wont be flush with front of my stand. I know this is minor, nitpicky stuff. Its a 65 inch tv, the stand has to be in front and behind the screen. My old tv sat flush with front of the stand. The big issue, and its huge for me is the sound. It's horrible, fingernails on a chalkboard bad.

After using my Best Buy Sony OLED tv for a few months, I can honestly give you a clear, concise review. The BAD (NO, THE TERRIBLE) is this Google User Interface (UI), which is a total disaster. This tv is primarily a tv first, but try to figure out how to find the normal live tv IS A TOTAL DISASTER! It's almost impossible for someone unfamiliar with computers such as children or the elderly. The live tv is hidden embedded deep within the UI. Next, you want your favorite channel and punch in, say channel 7, but noooo, you have to enter 7, then decimal point, then 1, then enter. My old Sony tv is smart enough to know that I want a channel designated as 7.1, so it prompts me, but this new Sony has a convoluted Google disasterous UI. So, be warned that this Google software is so difficult to use, and Google forces you to work through paid offerrings that you have NO interest in. Why can't I turn off all of these pay, pay, and pay features? NEXT IS VERY, VERY IMPORTANT: if you use an over the air antenna because you prefer to avoid cable tv's hugh prices, that rachet quietly up and up and up, then listen up. In a place where I live (Los Angeles), I would consider LA to be a MAJOR TV NETWORK LOCATION, then realize that this Sony tv ONLY HAS A SINGLE OVER-THE-AIR ANTENNA JACK, so why is that importsnt at all? Some networks in LA have transitioned from analog antenna signals to a new digital system, which would normally not be an issue. However, you won't believe this! You need an indoor (or outdoor optionally, but not necessary) DIGITAL antenna with RABBIT EARS for certain tv stations in LA, such as watching football on FOX, channel 11. But you also need a separate modetn digital antenna with the round, circular antenna for the other digital stations. But remember that there is only a SINGLE antenna jack in the back of the tv!! A big fail! Almost a "deal breaker." Now, let's get to the picture. I have the tv setup with a new Sony 4K/Bluray player, which takes almost 3-5 minutes to startup, but this Sony dister is for a player review. And I have a Nakamichi DRAGON sound bar, with wireless surr ound speakers for ceiling, rear, side, and two subwoofers. If you are considering what to buy for your dream ststem, then run, don't walk to get your DRAGON. But I digress, THIS SONY PICTURE MAKES ALL PREVIOUS MOVIE VIEWINGS OBSOLETE! It is unbelievably great, so much so that your old Blurays or 4K's will need to be watched again. You have read other reviews which have said that a tv has a grwat pucture, but this is better than any picture that you have ever watched, so much so that it is the equivalent to the jump from black& white tv to volor tv...it is that big of a increase in picture quality. Which leaves the incredible disasterous remote control. Oh my gosh, this half sized remote is so bad that I am forced to use the bigger remote from my old Sony tv, as it is that bad. How in the world did Sony match up such a great picture with such a useless remote and an agonizingly bad GOOGLE USER INTERFACE? I believe that you should definitely buy this amazing tv for its pucture, but be prepared for the disastrous UI and equally twrribly insufficient, unlighted remote control. Oh, before I forget, the Google interface to change your settings is way beyond being unusasble, as it is the worst disaster in this tv. Just tey to find some feature to adjust or change, then be prepared to spend the next thirty minutes IN TOTAL, COMPLETE FRUSTRATION? No, it's beyond frustration, it is a cluster! I just spend 3 sessions to attempt to find the switch for my audio between the tv speakers vs. my Nakamichi Dragon! I am not kidding when I tell you that someone unfamiliar with co.purts, or is a child, or is an elderly person, then this Google UI is not for you. But otherwise, this tv picture has a clarity that makes a closeup face appear to be live in your living room. No kidding, it is that good! In closing, buy this tv (but be prepared for deal breaking UI issues). BUY IT NOW, YOU WILL THANK ME!

Item is amazing, as advertised. Stepped up 2 larger screen, as i use it as monitor as well, whereas i don't require glasses. Brighter than my A95L

This Sony TV is the Best I have had! Clarity and colors of the picture are great! Sporting events are so clear on quick moves making it a joy to watch! Tis is my 3rd Sony of which 2 were Bravia's. Well worth the price for the upgrades in this model!
