I'm satisfied with its sound quality and brightness. I still need time to appreciate the picture quality that came with OLED technology since I couldn't big change from that of my old SONY. We really likes using the voice remote control and Google, keeping searching online videos and news easier.

I am so thrilled with this TV and I can't wait to sign up to streaming company and see what "powers" it has through that connection. The color is brilliant and the lettering, pictures etc... are crystal clear and crisp. I absolutely LOVE this TV!!

I bought this and a Sony STR-DH790 7.1 Receiver. The picture is amazing and I have all I need to utilize a Series X, Switch, PS4, Apple TV and Hue Play HDMI Sync Box. I equally use the TV for gaming and television use. It is easy to set up, and Sony’s online support is amazing!

I was contemplating between the A80J and the LG CX/C1 models for a long time. I'm an avid gamer and I was planning on using the TV with my PS5. I chose the Sony A80J for a couple of reasons. 1. Picture quality is above all the competition. Sony is known for their image processing and this Bravia line model is no different. The LG models come close, but the A80J does it better. 2. PS5 has no VRR support yet, so going with this TV made sense. The input lag difference is definitely there (~10ms on LG C1 vs ~16ms on Sony A80J), but at the end of the day I thought this was a negligible amount for console gaming. I get all my "competitive" gaming done on my PC on a gaming monitor so I didn't really care. Also, once the VRR update comes along in December for the Sony TVs, I'm sure the VRR firmware update will soon follow on the PS5's (hopefully). 3. This is probably a moot point for most people, but the A80J lets you position the legs in 3 different positions and one of them allows room for a soundbar under the TV. I know most people mount their TVs nowadays, but that's not possible for me at the moment. If I went with the LG C1, I would've had to purchase a different TV stand to mount it to my media console.

It does seem clearer with the oled feature too. we were able to fit it into our mini suv too the store manager was very helpful in addition to the clerk being informative. We had an older Sony Bravia, but it wasn't a "smart" TV and the Blu-Ray player we were using to access streaming channels was dying. The investment into this OLED is more than worth it! Excellent picture, unbelievably easy to navigate between services, great remote. Exceeds all of my expectations.

Almost Perfect

OLED is just insane!! only takeaways i have is the lack of hdmi 2.1 ports. it has two while it's competitor like the LG C1 have 4, Google TV UI can be a little laggy at times and the ethernet port on the back of the TV is not a gigabitport, so you won't get anything more than 100mbps using a direct ethernet connection. also the eArc stops working sometimes and I don't know why. Mainly when using the Bravia core app to watch movies. Other than that it's an amazing TV. Looks awesome when playing my PS5 too

Also make sure that the Automatic software update feature of your TV is on so that you'll be notified once a new firmware is out. I read all the reviews and did my research and knew exactly what I wanted….but then I met Trey. He is a rep from Sony who was in the store doing training. I brushed him off at first, and told him I knew what I was looking for. He was polite and left me alone, but then asked me one simple question, “Why Samsung?” Within 2 minutes he had me sold on Sony. He knew every feature I wanted and quickly pointed out that Samsung didn’t support what I wanted. Within 5 more minutes, he convinced me that OLED was the way to go for a few extra undos. So happy I too, the time to listen and ask questions. I was die hard Sony guy for years and years, but switched to Samsung 10 years ago, but Sony has really picked up their game on advanced features and sound quality. If you are primarily using your TV for streaming and gaming for the kids, this TV will not disappoint! in fact, it’s almost hard to watch anything on my old Samsung 8000 series curved TV in the bedroom.

Meanwhile with any sony I have owned, its still gets updates 3+ years later, works better, lasts longer. I used to advocate for vizio but their quality also tanked. Sony TV buyer for life.
