    This tv is terrible. The picture is outstanding, but there’s too many problems to list. The main thing is that it randomly turns off the show we’re watching and goes back to the Home Screen. Also, sometimes when we turn it on, it won’t immediately load the picture. It can take 5-10 minutes sometimes. I’d not recommend this to anyone.

      While we are glad that you like the picture quality, we are sorry to hear that the TV turns off and goes back to the Home Screen. This is definitely not the experience we want you to have. We’d love to help you troubleshoot your problem by isolating your sources and understanding your connections.

      The TV needs a couple of minutes to initialize after the TV power cord is plugged in. The power buttons on the TV and the remote won't work during this short period of time, and the LED or illumination LED won't light up right away. This is normal operation.

      If the TV turns off automatically, please check the following:

      The screen may have been turned off due to [Sleep timer] settings.
      Check the [Duration] setting of [Timer].
      Check if [Idle TV power off] in [Power & Energy] is activated.
      (US, CA and MX models only) Check if [Auto shut-off] in [Power & Energy] is activated.

    TV installed by Geek Squad and it worked well after they left. A couple days later, the TV would not come on…..NOTHING! The picture was good when it worked but totally not reliable. I replaced it with Samsung and satisfied.

    Tv pic is good but when you stream Netflix, the tv bounces you out to the previous standard tv. This is a known issue at Sony and is very frustrating given $$& spent on product.

    the tv is clear and when it works it's great. Since we've had it we have had geek squad out 3 times and they can't figure out what's wrong. It goes blank with just lights on the side and sound. You have to turn it off and on again after about 20 minutes.

      Hi WILLIAM, We apologize if the TV is not compatible with the DirecTV app. The DirecTV Stream App is not available from the Google Play Store on this TV. However, you can connect the DirecTV box to any of the HDMI Inputs(HDMI ports 1/2/3/4). Also, you can enjoy available pre-installed streaming applications on this TV. You can only download apps compatible with your TV, and they may differ from apps for mobile devices. The Google Play on the Google TV or Search for apps on the Google TV™, only display apps that are supported by the TV.

    Replaced a Sharp 60” with this TV. Color was vibrant, sound was mediocre. Disappointed couldn’t download Spectrum app. Unfortunately this TV only lasted 7 months! Sony has always been top quality - not sure what happened.
