A second TV a different issue

This is our SECOND one, the first only lasted 8 months and took another 3 months to get SONY to exchange. Now a different issue with this one, but I BOUGHT a WORKAROUND and can live with it...but hate to with this brand name TV.

Had to return to Best Buy because a row of pixels went bad a week after I bought it. Ended up buying another one at Costco for same price but with extended warranty included. Best Buy wanted over $200 more for a 2 year extension.

Best Buy sent us a new HDMI cable. got it to connect but it looses connection constantly. Then the squad came out, checked it out replaced the HDMI cable. problem solved, for a few hours then we started to loose connection. Blamed the router, blamed the signal, and the location, all the while all the computers and electronic devices are all working fine. When it worked it was great but getting it to work was the issue. Now its out of warranty and its JUNK. For that kind of money it should have lasted a lot longer.

Underwhelming display but great features and apps

The thing is, these TVs never look as good when you bring them home. I had an LG OLED that I bought 6 years ago that had burn ins and I must say, this upgrade didn't wow me with the display. However, the features and the functionality and apps are 5 stars!

Thank you for the review. The picture quality of the television would depend on the source that you're playing. If you're viewing 4K video format, make sure to set the HDMI signal format to Enhanced format to view pictures in 4K resolution with higher quality.
