I have this hooked up to my soundbar and control all of it from one remote. Its also likned into my homes Google home setup and i can control it via voice from other rooms lol. If i forget to turn it off i can tell Google to turn off downstairs tv from my bedroom. I highly recommend this tv if you cant afford a master class tv either. Those are super crisp but for the budget minded of us look no further. Dont even bother with LG or Samsung.

Is OLED really better?

Staff members at my Best Buy suggested this Sony OLED was the best choice in the price range I had in mind as it was discounted $300 from MSRP. The installing "Geeks" set it up in my great room and connected my Sonos Play Bar. The picture is marginally better than my old set but far better in accommodating all the streaming services...a huge improvement over the "Smart" features of the old Samsung. Admittedly, when watching live football and golf broadcasts, the picture appears to be crisper so the OLED features may be responsible for this perception. I am uncertain that the perceived improvements justify this investment, but I can unreservedly say that the Best Buy installing team was superb.

Sharp Picture, Great Sound, Nice Design

I got this for the Living Room and a $600 Sony model for my bedroom. This is a splurge but I love the colors as well as the Sony software. All the LGS have a red dot that stays on so that would be very annoying for a bedroom. I like the Sony sound, (no speakers needed and I play it at 20% volume) the colors are sharp and the navigation is great. I use it with Apple TV but don't need that as can load apps directly. Nice remote too.

Big jump with OLED display. Much brighter than previous TV, not to mention the color and image clarity. I didn’t think about the surround system speaker being an issue since we don’t mount it. The screen on legs is fairly low, so only option for now was to place it behind the TV, but the Sony allows setup to use the TV speakers as the center channel. It sounds better using those as the center channel. Very pleased overall.

Great, but Spooky!

It is our third Sony Bravia and the quality of the picture is great. The only problem we have had with it in the first month is a problem we had with our two previous Bravias. They turn on by themselves. I did not expect this on a brand new television. We recently purchased the 55" Bravia for our bedroom and we are hoping we do not have this problem with it as well. Not the type of midnight intrusion we are looking forward to. Anyone else with this problem and any fixes?

And connected to a sony soundbar it sounds fantastic. But airplay is extrememly finicky. I have set up airplay on the TV. I bring up a sporting event on iphone and cast to TV or mirror depending on the App. When I do this the airplay/home-kit settings screen. I've tried setting it to require password on first time, everytime and password option. I have no issues casting or mirroring to an AppleTV hooked to a much older Sony dumb LED TV. Would only recommend if you don't plan to cast/mirror from iphone. Pros Picture quality is superb Cons Remote is not intuitive Airplay unreliable

To use the Apple TV app, AirPlay, and HomeKit, you will need to enable the Sony Smart TV services via the BRAVIA™ TV Privacy Policy. If you experience Apple TV access or connection issues when pairing to an Apple device using the AirPlay app, follow these steps to resolve the issue: 1. Restart your Apple device. 2. Enable the Sony Smart TV services via the Privacy Policy screen. On the supplied TV remote, press the HELP button.
Go to Status & Diagnostics, and then select Privacy settings.
On the Privacy Policy screen, read the privacy policy; if you agree, scroll down to the very bottom of the policy, and then agree, at least concerning Sony Smart TV services, or select the Agree to all option if you desire.
On the TV remote control, press the Input button, and then select AirPlay from the input selection to display the AirPlay menu.

I got it on sale for Christmas at $1699. All I buy is Sony products... always have. But, this OLED TV IS THE TOTAL PACKAGE!! The content is basically unlimited, the picture is Flawless, the sound is the best coming from the tv itself... even though I do have the Sony 1080 receiver that accommodates it unbelievably... and the sony Blu-ray player with Doby Vision and Atmos is incredible !! I could go on and on but I'll be here all day...I LOVE IT !!!

I had to find a new TV for my new place. I did my research on the latest smart TV technology & the hands-down winner was Sony's Bravia. Visually, it's OLED screen produces the most vivid color & contrasts I've ever seen. Great!

Doesn’t seem like they thought it would be used with traditional CATV when they designed the programming. On power up, sometimes we get cable, sometimes a random menu screen, many times warnings about screen burn-in if TV is not turned off (always when it’s been turned off). Always ends up at CATV but takes forever to get there. Worst feature so far is the incredibly narrow angle for the remote to work. I’d estimate +/-15 degrees if that. Terribly inconvenient.

Every tv in my house is Sony! I always buy Sony! My 2014 Sony Tv just stop working, we replaced it with this wonderful tv. The only thing, I wish Sony would at least consider making the stand(legs) where they/it can adjust in the center of the tv. For the tv to fit on multiple size tv stands. My 2014 tv has a center stand(legs) it did fit on a smaller size tv stands.
