Also the sound on the tv itself is pretty good. I haven’t felt the need to connect soundbar yet. I am sure I will, but so far so good. We used the stand instead of mounting it. I have to install a new bracket. I’ve just been too busy with other things. But the TV stand works well. Instructions on how to install legs were a bit vague. It took two people. The interface is ok. Not as good as Roku device. Also, the smart tv has frozen twice and auto updates aren’t an option as far as I can tell. Interface could be better. I use fubo for ‘live’ tv - sports. It is a bit clunky to access.

Disappointing After 18 Months

However, after just 18 months of use, I started experiencing issues. The TV began shutting off after only a few minutes of watching, and eventually, it wouldn't turn on at all. To make matters worse, strange lines started appearing on the screen. I reached out to Sony customer support, hoping they could help, but unfortunately, they only offer a 1-year warranty. With no further assistance available, I’m stuck with a broken TV. It’s really frustrating to spend good money on a product that starts failing so soon after the warranty ends. Definitely reconsidering buying another Sony in the future. Would have been a great TV if it had lasted longer, but the lack of support and the short warranty leave much to be desired.

Bad One ?

Ours tell us that we have no antenna or cable connections while we are watching it. Other menus pop up on left side of screen for other features every 5 minutes or so. Twice it shut off while watching a program. Best Buy was coming out today from 7 to 7 to swap it out. At 2 pm I called for update to find they canceled the appointment and was not able to talk to the store so I drove 45 minutes to see a puzzled look on the sales managers face about it being canceled. Rescheduled for Monday from 7 to 7. Next will be my money back.

The best buy guy was very helpful . Sony has been around a long time so that narrowed it down. I love that you don't have to sit directly in front of the tv to get a good view and the sound on this tv is really great and my hearing is bad. It was worth the price I paid. I recommend this brand and model to anyone who enjoys watching tv.
