I don't see a problem with lights on . I don't have a window in back but do watch in the day with window to the side and with 2 lights on at night! Sports are gorgeous to watch football ,baseball, basketball and hockey!

Went from stunning to nothing in a year. Sony did honor warranty, but sent a refurbished tv that intermittent lises full picture and sound. Yes, we have surge protection. We have owned mostly Sony tv for over 10 years. None have had any issues.... except this oled. I don't recommend buying this tv without some kind of warranty. Best sound and picture for sure, while it works.

The thing I loved about this tv is it’s semi gloss screen, so it’s not as shiny as other oleds and helps with the glare. The picture as expected is just supberb and motion is fantastic when watching sports. Over all I’d recommend this tv to anyone wanting to watch sports and movies.
