I’m waiting for the technician to come over and check it out otherwise they told me I have to call Sony if they can’t fix the problem

warning, don't buy sony - they wont support you!

Extremely Pitiful Customer Support
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The new Sony 65" OLED TV I bought from BB had two issues: 1) it had periods when it would not turn on and 2) the screen was so dark in scenes that I could not see what was taking place (the brightness was set to max out of the box). I learned I had to unplug the power for about 30 seconds and then plug it back in (the software would reset), and then it would turn on. This happened several times in the month I had it. The lack of brightness was a lessor issue. I called Best Buy Customer Care and no one could help me. I spent four consecutive hours on the phone. It took at least 30 minutes to work through the menu to talk with a person. After I explained the problems, I was put on hold and the line would either go back to the front of the menu again (and I had to start over), or the call would end and I would have to call again, spend another 30 minutes or so waiting and then explain the issue again. This happened seven times over four consecutive hours. After four hours I gave up. I loaded the TV into my vehicle, took it back to the Best Buy store I bought it from and returned it for a full refund. These large TV screens are delicate and can be easily damaged. I was fortunate. The 65" and larger TVs are very difficult to move once their packaging has been removed. As BB cannot offer any support for their new TVs, I will never buy another one from them. I learned my lesson and bought a LG 65" OLED G2 at a local business who offers support for the products they sell. They installed it and if it has issues, they will resolve it. Best Buy cannot support the larger TVs.
