The 120hz feature and hdr pairs perfectly with my gaming pc for a beautifully looking picture, when watching movies or shows the detail in both the brightest and darkest if scenes is immaculately produced. The amount of fine tuning avalible pairs fantastically with the ability to store multiple profiles for diffrent inputs. Little to no adjustments when pairing with my sony sounds system. Highly recommend for anyone looking to step up from an led pannel.

The picture is nice & vibrant without being overly saturated like the Samsung OLED. It has a very clear picture & handles motion well. The screen is bright enough to be in a bright room with no problem. I’ve always believed that Sony makes some of the best TVs & this one is no exception to that. The quality is just out of this world. We will be enjoying this TV for years to come!

Should have stuck with my first choice
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I went into the store looking for a Samsung OLED tv, but the Sony rep convinced me of the advantages of the Sony processor. When I pulled the Besy Buy rep aside to try and get a less biased opinion, he agreed that the Sony would give me better results. I’m using a new 4k AppleTV as my source. First impressions watching the new Mission Impossible and the Superbowl, it seemed good and crisp, although it was a little harsh, but i wanted to wait until it was mounted to dial it in. Now that its up, I’m doing everything I can to get the picture to feel lifelike and the sound balanced (since this is suppsoed to be a strength). No matter what I do, one scene will look good and the next looks over saturated. Not sure the sound is that great either. I would say the unit is average at best. I’m really regretting going against my gut and buying this TV. If Best Buy showed up to repace it with my original choice, I’d likely be much happier.

I am wired by a HDMI cable to a Sony home theater system. Rather often my tv remote would lose the ability to adjust the volume up or down. I would have to use the sound system remote to adjust the volume. And occasionally even that didn't work. Sometimes though, the tv remote would start working again later in the evening. I could get things working again by doing a soft reboot to the tv. After a home visit my Geek Squad agent couldn't figure out a solution. I'm getting a LG as a replacement next week. Best Buy made this return and replacement a very easy procedure.

Well, this one is just as spectacular when you get it home. The picture is beautiful. The sound is excellent. I feel no need for a soundbar. Besides the beautiful picture, the advantage of OLED is that it looks just as good from anywhere in the room, not just straight ahead. I have had it only a few weeks but so far I am thrilled! All in all, I love this model and size, and the OLED has to be my favorite of all the TVs right now.

First Class without Being Overly Complicated

I like being able to customize and try different options but not when it's confusing or requires lots of navigation in a convoluted menu (e.g. couldn't figure out how to turn off voice navigation on samsung tv for about 2 years). The interface & remote works direclty with DirectTV in a smooth/easy fashion. Has all the bells and whistles of an OLED with great graphics and easy to use.

The colors are phenomenal in comparison to my older LED TV as well as the picture quality and the sound. It integrates very well with my Sony tunner for incorporating the TV speakers into the existing surround sound as well. Long story short…If you are reading this and have a LED TV thats been around for several years do yourself a favor and upgrade, your eyes will thank you!

Not the quality I expected from Sony

It's a love hate relationship. I love it when it's working but hate that after spending so much money it doesn't always work. Oh yeah,and this is all after it completely stopped working after we had it for 6 months and we had to wait for almost a whole month before it was repaired.

After going though all my options on the Sony A80L 65" & Sony Soundbar HTA3000 adding the sub woofer. The picture quality is wonderful viewing for all angles. Sound is awesome. Went full streaming and cut the cord. Takes little time getting use to working with new remote and wish the remote had light back ground. Really made no modification to colors. Took out of box and hung it on the wall. Very happy with my purchase from BB

Replacing the old Sony LED.

Did a lot of research and shopping before I came to the conclusion that this was the best deal, for our family needs. I have it hooked up to a DirecTV Stream box, Roku and a Fire Stick. All video looks great and I see a big improvement over the older Sony LED TV. I am feeding all of the devices into a Denon AVR, and using a single feed into the TV, and the audio is in perfect sync with the video. We are glad we choose the Sony Bravia XR A80L.
