You can go very bright with their "Vivid color" menu selection, or tone it down to something more every day. Responds to voice commands. Lots of free TV channels available. There are a lot of preloaded apps. My complaint is that they make it nearly impossible to download competitive apps. It's even difficult just to find the Google Play Store , and when you try to use it it typically will direct you to one of the existing apps rather than simply let you download something . I suspect this is because Sony was paid by all these other apps that are on there and Google wants to track everything I'm doing for data collection. This is probably a problem with every TV, not just Sony.

Super Bowl watch party

I watch soccer during the day and football at night. i had a 55" but it got a little difficult to follow the ball. Th 65" makes it so much easier to keep up with the game. I'm over 60 and so are most of my friends so I guess I'm hosting the Super Bowl and World Cup from now on. I got the TV so there going to bring the chicken wings and beer.

Upgraded a 12 yo Sony 1080p so this a major step up. Be sure to have a substantial a home network with bandwidth capable of 110mb/sec if you plan to take advantage of the Bravia Core feature. Badic setup provided by Sony is good but you may need to tweak brightness and color intensity. My A80L is a bit too bright with white objects. Reds can be a bit too brilliant at times. I use a home theater so cant really judge the audio of the A80L.

Easy to get Lost

I have been always a Samsung guy since 2008 never had an issue with Samsung but a representative at Best Buy talk me into buying a Sony. I was initially going to buy an LG but he told me that Sony it’s better and it works really good with my PS5. He was right, so I made the decision of getting the Sony TV. The picture quality it’s amazing. I’m glad I listened to a representative I could have been happy.

I was looking at the Samsung 90C and LG C3 until I saw them display the same images side by side at Best Buy. The Sony picture is better, hands down. The upscaling of older streamed shows is very good. The menu is intuitive and fast and easy to navigate with the remote. The online manual is lacking detail and not very helpful.
