And I'm able to reduce my number of remotes by two! My only wish is to be able to go between cable/antenna and streaming apps without having to change between antenna (channels) and the apps. It may be my setup as I'm going through an AVR. Still. this a great TV!!

The OLED screen combined with VRR and game mode for PS5 games. Takes the gaming experience to a whole different level. But not only that the Bravia Core app has probably the best quality for movies I have ever seen. I recommend this product 100%

We have had 3 of them ever the years. This is also a shout out to Best Buy, when we hung the tv we noticed three small issues on the screen. Called Best Buy, they arranged to pick up the tv, and bring a new one at the same time. Great Customer Service!

Premiere Way to Watch Movies You Love

As a dude who likes to watch movies in the most immersive way, rewatching anything in 4K/HDR makes you feel like you’re watching it the way it was intended. The Game Mode feature is super neat too. Sleek design. Well worth the price. I should’ve gone bigger lol.

The picture especially is incredible. But, it stopped recognizing my soundbar (also Sony) after about 6 months. So, I would have to turn the soundbar off, wait a bit, then turn it back on for the TV to connect to it. Not a huge deal, but for sure annoying. Then, it randomly started turning itself on and off when it wasn't in use. After spending over an hour on the phone with customer service clearing cache and resetting the TV, that stopped. Finally, about 350 days after I bought it, the power board went out. It's been such a disappointment.

Today, May 7, 2025, there is a dark screen horizontally about 10" from the top of the television. We were told to update the software. We did update the software, but it didn't repair the issue. We were then told that someone could come out to look at it for $275 and see if they could repair it. If not, we would lose our $275 and live with the issue or buy another $2000 plus television. We have never had problems with Sony televisions and really are now at a loss as to what to do.

Beautiful Picture, Until the TV Breaks

Picture was gorgeous before that and I loved this TV. I'm guessing the great reviews on here are from people who have owned this TV for less than a year. I bought extended warranty from Geek Squad based on reading reviews about this TV's reliability, but Sony won't let Geek Squad service it if it's still on factory warranty. Waiting to see if I can get it fixed by a Sony authorized repair person (I'm far from a city).

I put a premium on upscaling and image processing for streaming or SD content. Sony processing is largely considered the best. I am not a gamer.

Price match really should cover this on such a major purchase. ;-( Don’t buy until the price drops to get a good value.
