Warranty is a Scam

Nothing we tried would fix it so we contacted Geek Squad. They came out and tested the tv and said it needed a new Motherboard, and emailed Sony stating as much. Despite this and spending hours on the phone with them they refuse to honor their warranty and say it 'must be our wifi'. DO NOT TRUST SONY WARRANTY

You will find that the LG C3 does a much better job but the LG G3 is the one to buy if you're looking at OLED It is far better in all respects! Also will more likely prove to be more reliable in the long run.

I watch lots of broadcast tv and love sports. All the other tvs I’ve owned have had a return to last channel button. This tv does not. It requires at least four more keystroke steps to go to another channel.

The TV has a back button that will let you go back to the previous screen and a channel + and - to navigate the channels using the Sony remote. Occasionally having issues with it turning on but didnt think too much of it. 1 year and 1 week later it stopped working. Tv would not turn on. Flashing red light indicating power source issue or main board issue. Conveniently it was a week too late to make a warrenty claim. So now either pay $300+ for someone to fix it or attempt a DYI on a $2k tv. These are not made like the old ones, would not recommend. If you do decide to buy, get the extended warranty like we have to on everything made now days.

BUT I needed a good tv for our living room. I should have purchased a less expensive model. Oh well, live and learn.
