Great upgrade

I love all the different settings for tv watching vs video games vs movie watching, they really make a difference. I also love that the remote works to control my Apple TV so I don't have to use that horribly designed remote anymore. That alone nearly makes it worth the $$.

Dissapointed in picture

The picture is fine if im on netflix, but otherwise, its mediocre and below mediocre when watching sports. If im watching a basketball game, the picture is nice when there is a timeout, but when the players start moving, the picture becomes blurry as if the pixels cant keep up with the action. I tried to adjust the settings to no avail. I purchased a neo qled last year for $400 less, for another room and its much better. To add insult to injury, the TV is now selling for $100 less. Im dissappointed in this product.

Press the (Quick Settings) button on the remote control, and select [Settings] — [Display & Sound] — [Picture] — [Motion] — [Motionflow] — [Off].
Change the current setting of [CineMotion] to [Off].
Press the (Quick Settings) button on the remote control, and select [Settings] — [Display & Sound] — [Picture] — [Motion] — [CineMotion].

Be cautious if using an older soundbar

I had this television installed by the Best Buy team and connected it to my existing soundbar via an optical cable. If you connect this way you can not control the sound. There is sound but neither the volume control nor the mute will be functional. You must connect via an HDMI cable specifically in port 3 and unfortunately my older soundbar does not have an HDMI port. The only way to control the sound is to stop using the soundbar or buy a new one.
