Amazing TV, Picture quality is incredible. It is definitely not to Dim. Don't let the Nit brightness scare you away from this TV. It is plenty bright for your average room. Its as Bright as my old LCD TV. The sound is great, no need for a sound bar in my opinion, unless you want to feel like you're in the movie. Also it is incredible for gaming. This is by far the best TV I have ever owned. And I have bought way more expensive TV's in the past. I would Highly recommend this TV

Excellent for Gaming & Movies. The HDR is fantastic, it paired immediately with my A5000 soundbar and switches & recognizes inputs even through my Hue Sync. Its also bright enough for a bright room, cokors are vibrant and blacks look like the TV is off lol. Sound is also really suprising. The sound fields are directional coming from the screen, using it as the center channel really makes movies immersive Also, if you have a PS5, get any TV with the Sony Gaming tech. The auto VRR & HDR tuning is awesome, and the quick crosshair is fun to mess with. 100% worth the money.

Really nice TV. Geek Squad did a great job getting it in and hooked up. We got a 3.1 Sony soundbar with it, so I can't speak to the TV's speakers. I had to give sound a rating, so I just picked 4 stars, but the built-in speakers could be better than that. Remote was intuitive because we're used to Google Chromecast remotes. One of the reasons we went with Sony was to get Google TV built in. Color and clarity are great. We upgraded from a 15-year-old Sharp LCD, so this picture blows us away with the big beautiful 65-inch OLED screen.

I bought this tv for my living room, primarily use it for watching tv, movies and gaming. When i say this tv looks immaculate i mean it. Every color pops no matter what im watching. The only downside is apps sometimes dont work but maybe its just a sony issue since i had the same issue on my old sony tv, but nothing a reset cant fix.

Stunningly incredible picture! The contrast is perfect. The colors are perfect. The detail is unbelievable. The blacks are truly black. There is detail in the black. The picture, when the whole screen is the same color, there is no variation in the color, it is perfectly consistent. The sound is wonderful.

Excellent picture. Great color and sports have no glitching. Only gripe would be that about once a month i have to restart the tv because it freezes.

This is undoubtedly the best TV on the video market, just below their top-of-the-line A95L, another fantastic TV. It reproduces solid and realistic colors, has enough brightness for any environment, fast refresh rate, which is A+ when watching movies and sports with rapid transitions. One feature I like a lot is the sound through the panel; for a TV with no speakers the panel reproduces an exceptional sound. Go and get one!

I am totally in love with my new Sony 65" OLED! The colors are true, the contrast incredible, blacks are completely black, clarity is amamazing, and the view is lifelike. Sports and action programs are a dream! Suggest purchasing (I did) a soundbar to complete the amazing experience.

Dang nice image- with a few very minor settings- will make movies look better than watched in the theater. Color is beautiful, crisp and clear. Easy to set up and get right to it. IF MOVIE LOVER- this TV is an absolute.

As a household with multiple Sony tv's we took a leap and jumped on the OLED train with this TV! the only question I've asked myself about this purchase is why I didn't do it sooner, the black levels are actually pitch black, the colors are vivid, and the brightness allows us to enjoy a good show in our main living room that is filled with windows and a ton of natural light. As my daughter says "its like we are in the movie its so clear" and i have to agree with her! I will be purchasing another OLED sony to add to the collection soon as well. Oh and i forgot to mention the audio on this thing is impressive, as someone with a pretty crazy Dolby Atmos set up with separates, this is the first tv that i can stand to watch without the surround sound turned on!

An excellent tv for mixed use. The TV gets very bright and has superb reflection handling, so it's suitable for use in a bright room. It also looks incredible in a dark room due to its exceptional contrast, and HDR content is impactful due to its incredible HDR brightness. It has modern gaming features that make it fully compatible with recent consoles, and its excellent response time delivers fast motion with minimal blur, which is great for playing video games or watching sports.

I recently purchased the Bravia 4K TV, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. From the moment I set it up, it was clear this TV is in a league of its own. The picture quality is simply breathtaking. The 4K resolution brings every detail to life, and the colors are incredibly vibrant and true to life. That said, pairing it with a soundbar elevates the experience even further. I also love the intuitive interface. The built-in voice assistant is a great touch, allowing me to control the TV hands-free. The design of the Bravia is sleek and modern. Overall, the Bravia 4K TV has exceeded my expectations in every way. It’s an investment in quality, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a premium viewing experience.

Probably a 4.5/5. Love the vibrant colors as well the blacks. Our living room has lot of windows and some movies/scenes set in the night scene are difficult to appreciate unless the blinds are all shut (We have beige colored non-blackout roller shades and the light still seeps in through, enough to cause a reflection/glare). Nevertheless, this was a major upgrade for us from a UHD TV so love everything about it. The UI is very smooth and the sound effects are good as well. I believe the max brightness is 1000 nits but if you are looking to place this in a well lit room, you might want to go for the next model up, with 1500 nits depending on how much light seeps in through the blinds.

The TV was relatively easy to set up but took some time as I installed it on the wall and fished the wires so they wouldn't show. The picture with 4K movies is excellent. The black shades are vivid, and the colors are picture perfect. It's nice to buy something and not regret it later. It's more expensive than a LED TV, but if you can afford it, I recommend you go for it. The power cord was too short, and I had to buy an 8 foot one to accommodate my needs. I used optic cable to provide sound from the TV to my existing Klipsch sound bar. My wife uses Sony headphones to listen to the TV through Bluetooth. She's hard of hearing so being able to do both was a win/win for us.

Coming from a 2009 Panny Plasma, the technology upgrades this has to offer are amazing. We’ve used Roku for years now and seeing how far advanced this is over an add on smart box is great. The optional color settings for different type of shows are spot on with cool/warm coloring, the sound is amazing (we added the optional full wireless surround for the total Atmos experience) the ease of use was phenomenal and the fact we can just talk to it now without buttons or finding the remote is next level for us. It’s definitely a technological upgrade over base model TV’s you would find at lower value box stores, you absolutely get what you pay for here with this model.

We have been very pleased so far with our decision to purchase the Bravia XR A80L 65" OLED tv. We have a different company's OLED tv in a different residence, and had to buy a sound bar, but the reviews indicated that Sony's approach to generating sound quality is more effective than in other OLED tvs, and while someone wanting an audiophile experience would need a bar, if you just want (like us) to watch shows and athletic events and understand everything easily and clearly, the built-in sound is more than sufficient. The picture is gorgeous, and the controls easy to understand (at least those we've tried so far). I tend to second-guess expensive purchases, but haven't with this one!

Great television. Sharp contrast and brightness. Picture is crisp when watching content or playing videogames. Sound through existing 5.1 system is fantastic.
