    Good morning, my SONY 65 BRAVIA XR - A95L - AFTER 10 MONTHS FAILED! The motherboard went out NO EXTERNAL SOUND and this is a very common problem with this TV! I told SONY the TV was used very little hours and at $3000 when I purchased it for 10 months of use that $300 per month for cost of ownership! Sony agreed to give me one additional year warranty. No revision on the motherboard! 100% confident it will fail again…. I absolutely LOVE SONY but yhis a disappointment for a SONY MASTER SERIES TV…..

    Looking for Multi Screen or Screen Sizing?

    Bought mine in September 2023. I decided on this one, because it is suppose to have Multi screen and screen sizing (for gaming). All my TV's (4 currently) are Sony. Contacted Sony 4 times and still nothing. Could have saved my money and kept playing on my A80K or A90K TV's. Feel like I am being lied to. Definitely would put this under false advertising. Not a happy customer. Next time I check the competition.

    Commercials at max volume with not adj available

    The video is dark compared to my Samsung. Doesn't look as good in a bright room. I noticed that the scale up to 4k is much better on my Samsung too. The thing that I hate most about this TV and why I gave it only 2 stars is that the commercial volume is at max volume and there is no way of turning this down or adjusting it. I find nowhere in the settings for such a configuration. I suspect, Sony gave me a beta version of the garbage goggle tv software. I have research and researched only to find nothing here.

      The picture quality of the TV will depend in the source that you're playing. You may experience a lower quality picture than specified for your TV for several reasons. To experience the highest quality picture on your TV, the video source should be the same quality (HD, 4K, etc.) as specified for your TV. You may try to improve the image quality by adjusting the Picture mode, Sharpness, and Resolution settings. Check this link for more details.

    Great TV before the main board failed at 7 months.

    I was excited to get this new, expensive, high end TV, and I was very happy with it until the main board failed at 7 months. The TV simply shut itself off and it flashes the red led in groups of three flashes. I contacted Sony and they initiated a warranty repair. I was then notified by email that the main board will not be available for at least two weeks and that time is subject to change! I am trying to contact the Sony rep in charge of my case to see if they can expedite delivery of part or replace the TV. As of right now my new A95L is dead on my wall for at least two more weeks and I am very disappointed!

    Disapointing for the price

    The overall photo quality is very good however i have had multiple issues with the tv turning back on after 20 seconds when i turn it off. Now im having sound issues where the sound actually studders. At first I thought it was the sound bar but I disconnected the sound bar and the tv has the same problem. I have owned. A few Sony tvs over the last 15 years and they have all been reliable. I am going to return this for a replacement and hopefully i just got a lemon.

    Sony A95L Only Latest 8 Months

    Bought my 65” Bravia XR A95L from Best Buy on 6 April 2024. The A95L stopped working in late December 2024. When it was working the A95L provided excellent picture quality. A top of the line TV should last more than 8 months. So far having no issues with Sony Returns folks. Will update when I finally get a replacement TV.

    Horrible Synchronization with Soundbar

    A great tv ruined by horrible sound bar support. Completely unintuitive design and it breaks constantly forcing you to restart the entire System to get sound again. What a shame.

    Was not impressed with this tv, unit would go blank for a few seconds at random times. This problem persisted even after a factory reset. Ultimately exchanged unit for a different model tv

    problems we have never had with a tv

    2 problems after just a couple of months. The voice changes (goes away, doesn't match mouth speaking, or changes tone ). Also, sometimes the tv freezes when you turn it on. for both issues you need to shut the tv off and turn it back on

    I purchased the this Sony Bravia XR A95L and it was dead right out of the box. Spoke with Sony and Geek Squad both said that there was no fix for it and to just return it. So after transporting it home, moving it into my house, unboxing it and setting everything up I had no picture when I powered it up. I had to completely repackage everything, move it again back to my truck and return it. I do have to say that Best Buy performed a totally hassle free return and were very helpful during the process. Does Sony not even test these prior to shipping them out? Evidently not! A $3500 top of their line TV. Shame on Sony. Sony wasted my time and energy without any consideration.

    Sony and Panasonic Televisions

    This television is the best I have seen since LED televisions have come out. When we purchased our last television, LED televisions had been on the market for a few years. They did not stand a chance compared to the Panasonic Plasma television we purchased. The picture quality was horrible compared to a Plasma television. LED televisions have come a long way. We looked at several televisions. Samsung, LG and even lower-end televisions. Until looking at the Sony A95L, no other LED television compared in picture quality to our Panasonic Plasma television. We are totally happy and impressed with the Sony A95L OLED television. The color, black level contrast and detail have finally given us a reason to upgrade to an OLED Sony television. You cannot go wrong with this Sony television. I cannot say the same thing for Samsung, LG or other low-end televisions.

    Sony A95L 65"

    I gave it 5 stars but was leaning towards 4 stars. Not because it is a 4 star product or because of the picture. It has a tremendous picture and where it really shines is with an Ultra 4k bluray player. I don't have streaming or even internet in my home. So my primary viewing is Directv. I replaced a Panasonic plasma that I bought in 2009. Honestly the picture difference isn't huge. I was expecting a night and day difference but there wasn't. It's not that the QD-OLED isn't good but i guess the plasma is STILL that good. I don't regret the purchase because i was wanting an upgrade anyway. The picture with an Ultra 4K movie is amazing. The detail and clarity is great. The colors are amazing. I wasn't amazed like when you go from VHS to DVD however. Regular viewing on Directv is great too but not much more than my plasma. Where this unit is leaps and bounds better is the sound! Wow...i was amazed at how big the sound was without a soundbar. The bass can be felt which is why I'm amazed. The built in speakers are very loud. I was planning on a soundbar system but i may not now. Overall im satisfied with this TV but im honestly not sure if its worth the price. The LG G3 with a soundbar and sub would be about the same price as the Sony.
