OLED is the future for now but with the hefty price tag, I opted for the Sony Bravia XR X90J - still a great tv for the price point, clear picture, great brightness, it does have an ARC channel as well- my biggest complaint that causes it to fall short of 4 stars is the interface itself is finicky, constant lags and home screen freezes. also lots of unnecessary apps installed on the TV as well. Overall - i wish i spent the extra money on an OLED but still a good TV if the glitches stop.

No light, numbers are on the top which make accessibility harder for people with large hands. No info button( that I know of) on the guide to continue description of show. Tv is fine. My XBR 46” was a great tv. The color was incredible. Sound is ok. I think a sound bar is needed which adds more expense.

The integrated Google Apps work about the best I have seen on any smart TV. That being said, the built in OS still has the occasional hiccup. There is some slight bloom that may bother some people.

Sony Bravia XR X90J 4K UHD TV

(It was a great TV) We bought an LG of the same class to replace it but were not satisfied with the picture quality (too bright and motion lagged) and lack of extra sound jack for headphones. We exchanged the LG for the Sony Bravia XR X90J series 4K TV and are happy once again. GREAT picture, motion refresh rate keeps up with the action and an additional sound jack so I can use my headphones (hearing loss) while the little lady listens via the soundbar at normal volumes. Very happy with this TV and highly recommend it. But be sure to become a BETA member or have extended warranty!!

Pretty good but has ghosting and jaggies issue

It doesn’t matter the source. I find this very annoying. Color and clarity is gorgeous but the ghosting and jaggies can drive you a little crazy. Blacks/contrast is pretty much perfect. Built in tv speakers are actually quite good. I have played with some of the settings and it did not fix the jaggies. For a $1500 tv ($1200 on sale) this is disappointing. My old Sony was 8 years old and didn’t have this issue!?? Why can’t you fix this Sony? I could have gotten just as a good a picture I believe with a $700 tv. If I can’t fix the motion jaggies I am going to return it along with the $800 Sony sound-bar we bought as a package because the sound bar is just ok. I have until Jan 16. For $800 we expected a WOW factor from the soundbar but there isn’t really any!! A $250 soundbar would be just as good. Overall, not overly happy. Our next brand even if we do keep this tv and soundbar will be a different brand. Our newer LG doesn’t suffer these issues and was much cheaper.

I really liked the resolution on this tv and works great for playing PS4 games as well. It’s a must buy for an all purpose tv for games, movie, music and binge watching

The picture is amazing... even the sound quality is impressive without any type of system or sound-bar set up with it. It's just all around awesome. Typically I'm only comfortable spending $600 MAX MAX on TV's and that's if I'm really in an amazingly great mood and everything in life is lined up perfectly! BUT I made and exception because of the Brand being SONY and just the comparison I could see while in the store for myself that it was clearly superior visually to all the other tv's on display. I highly recommend. It's almost like you're watching the tv in real time!!!!

Had to replace a 65” Samsung that thankfully had a 2 year warranty that was honored by a home shopping club. The Samsung went black apparently during an auto update. Needless to say, I wasn’t going to buy another Samsung. Upon my son’s insistence, I bought this Sony. Now I’m a believer that Sony gives a great picture and pretty good sound. BTW BB honored their price match guarantee and refunded $149 since I found THEIR lower advertised price in an email. Refund was handled by a phone call. I love Best Buy: their Geek Squad delivery/installation team, in store Geek Squad, and customer service. I bought the TotalTech support to cover all my purchases and an extended warranty on my Sony TV, A great all around experience.
