This was an upgrade from my 2015 Sony X850C. Although i do like the 4k picture much better of the 850 this is still an awesome picture. The sound on the X90J is much better than my X850C. Another advantage the X90J has over the X850C is you can replace the power cable. Ireplaced the with an Audioquest and plugged it into my Panamax M5400. This also enhances the overall quality as well.

It's been a while since I've had a Sony Bravia and this thing surpasses all other 4k tvs of mine by a landslide! Crisp colors with sharp blacks make for a stunning display, with very little modifications, fresh out of the box. The OS is much quicker and easy to use than Sam's or ElG's interface. Great for action-packed films and new-gen gaming as well with the 120hz refresh rate! Highly recommended

Sound is good, it does give a 3D sound from the tv speakers but does not have good bass. Which is fine with me as I prefer to use my surround sound system all the time. But nice to know that the tv speakers are good. I thing I wish it had was more memory as it only has 4gb and I was unable to have all the apps I use on the tv. Have to cast them from my phone. But other than that great tv.

Please keep in mind that the available storage capacity of the Google TV device only shows the available user-accessible storage and not the total on-board storage. The on-board storage of your TV consists of the following: The internal storage that's used to store the operating system and system files, and the user accessible storage used to store the apps and user data.
If the storage capacity of your TV is insufficient, you can move the downloaded apps to an optional USB storage device to free up space. Interacts well with my Sony amp. Streaming app availability is a little hit and miss due to the switch to the Android OS, but that should change as time goes on. Only downside are the mounting legs. Not really the most stable, and require a much larger stand if replacing a TV that used a center platform to mount with.

I didn’t want to spend that much money on a TV but after seeing it in my house it was worth it. The only thing I would have a slight complaint about is the sounds quality. I have yet to get it just right to be able to hear dialogue at a low level without having to turn it up and the loud noises blowing you out the room and waking the baby. But that’s on me not the TV.

We love the brilliant picture and watching 4K content. I selected this model based on price vs. features. The OLED was more than my budget would allow and the same with the XR 95J. We are very happy with our Sony TV. We did upscale from a 46 inch to a 65 inch display.. I had the Geek Squad handle the installation as it was wall mounted.

Would be nice if the HDR was a little brighter. I am still waiting for the VRR update but I guess hopefully it will come out soon. This was my first time buying a TV above 400 dollars and so far, I am impressed. Google TV is pretty easy to use as well. My only knock on the TV is that it came with a dead/stuck pixel. I figured since I can't really see it unless u stand right next to the TV. Also, the Wi-Fi seems to disconnect randomly, and I had to hard reset the TV to get it to work again.
