After a few months the screen goes black with some white lights on one side of the screen. Have to unplug to reboot to fix. I’m doing too much rebooting for what I paid. Back to LG for my next TV

Are you getting an error message when you try to display the channels? You may also try to control the cable/satellite box using the TV remote control. I needed a new tv for a new home and only knew what size I was looking for and this fit the bill as far as that. The picture is clear, but not crisp like some of the other tv's on display. I would say this is a basic good enough for me purchase.

Strong tv, but possibly overpriced.

Colors are vivid and accurate. Disappointed in the Google TV interface after using a Roku interface for many years. Motion processing does not seem to be as great as advertised. No cable tv, so stream everything. Has all apps built in. Not sure it is worth the price over the comparable TCL or Hisense.

Owned for 10 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This review is for both the TV AND the Protection Plan TV Started exhibiting backlight dying and dead pixels. Repair guy came out a week ago and we have had no answer to remidate the problem. It is under Sony warranty for 4 more weeks and with bo answers looks like they will let the TV go bad and we are out the factory warranty. At which point the protection plan takes over, right? Well the guy who came to diagnoss the lroblem the first tine wasnt a diagnostician, they sent an installer. Second guy took pictures that dont particularly show the problem even though its clearly visible in person. Last Sony product we buy in this house and last major electronics purchase from Best Buy. Shame is, for the year leading up to the failure it was a beautiful image.

The TV was great and I definitely like the picture, but the new OLED LG TV we got made a WORLD of a difference. If you're willing to spend $500 more, I would get the LG OLED TV. I think the Samsung OLED's are a lot more in price
