Only drawback I have for this one is they changed smartview option and put on apple air play instead. If you are an Android user you have to go a different route to screen mirror. It was alot easier with my older midel Sony.

If Screen mirroring isn't displayed in the input menu, your TV doesn't support this feature. In this case, you may be able to use the Apple AirPlay or Chromecast built-in (Google Cast) feature as an alternative to Screen mirroring.

Netflix is the only major streaming app that will output Dolby Atomos. This is rather peculiar considering the Chromecast with Google TV device outputs Dolby Atmos for both Disney+ and Amazon Prime Video. Unfortunately i still have to use my separate Chromecast device/dongle, rendering the Google TV useless. While the image quality is great, the Google TV built-in interface is nowhere close to a $50 Chromecast with Google TV dongle. I've even updated the TV software and still no Atmos for Disney + and Amazon Prime Video. I'm considering returning this TV.

As an alternative, you can use the chromecast built-in (Google Cast) lets you watch your favorite entertainment and apps from your mobile device or computer on your Android TV or Google TV. When you cast to the TV, it doesn't disconnect the internet connection or mirror content. This offers an advantage over Screen mirroring and Wi-Fi® Direct functions as you can cast content to the TV while you work in other apps or programs on your device.

Not Happy

I have to admit that I am not exactly thrilled with it's performance. On multiple occasions when the TV is powered on the screen is completely bright green and no reset button on the remote will clear this issue, I have physically unplug the TV to restore it. Also sometimes when using an app like Netflix or Prime the TV completely freezes and once again no button on the Sony remote will respond, and once again I must unplug the TV to reset everything. I am not very happy having spent over $1000 to have these reoccurring issues.

Posted .Hi Richard, we are sorry to hear about what happened. This is definitely not the experience we's like you to have. In case you'll encounter this again, you can perform a soft reset, hold down the power button on the remote until the restart option show up. Restart the tv, this will not erase any settings. Then try to power off the tv again to make sure the Bravia logo is gone. The tv screen should be off in standby mode.
