While we are glad to hear that you liked the picture of your X90J TV, we regret to hear that you also have issues with it and that the unit had to be returned. This is usually not the case with our premium TVs. There are many possible reasons why you had that issue with our BRAVIA TV. It could be because of an unsecured connection of inputs, etc. You just need to make sure that the cables are plugged properly, including the power cable. We also recommend updating the firmware of the TV improve the performance of the TV. We are sorry about your experience.
