    This TV didnt even 2 months an its already blooming and the color of off through out the whole TV. Its grey and shady throughout the whole TV. Very disappointed

    After 5 months tv does not look as great as it should. For ULTRA HD my Samsung has way better picture than this. Picture looks gritty and sharpness gets worse.

    This is easily my worse bb purchase. BB is great. Sony on the other hand has terrible customer service. Service is important because you’ll definitely need for the subpar quality of this set.

    Not very happy with Best Buy and Sony. Bought it on June 19 just over a month and the tv shuts off but itself. Best Best Buy would do is send me to Sony. Not a happy customer.

    I'm giving this one star because it only lasted 10 months before getting the dreaded flashing red light (4 times) indicating it's a bad backlight or internal board.

    I bought this 55x90J TV to replace an older Samsung. I'd been happy with the value represented by the 65x900F I purchased a few years ago, and the Google Assistant-AirPlay compatibility made this the right time to upgrade. I'm very pleased with the image quality. 4K HDR content really pops off the screen. Local dimming has improved since the 900F, so the bloom around bright areas is much lower. UI is much quicker than those earlier AndroidTV sets. Everything went together and the setup for Google Home and HomeKit were very simple to accomplish. I can't attest to sound, as I bundled a soundbar.

    I've had my Sony 65" XR90J for a little over 4 weeks now. Loving the picture quality. Loving the features and ease of use (especially Google TV). Coupled with a Panasonic DP-UB820 player, 4K movies look absolutely superb - especially those in Dolby Vision - which is certainly a hallmark of this TV. If I had the extra money, I would've liked to go with Sony's 65" OLED. But honestly this baby totally hits the sweet spot!

    First the good. Easy to set up. Really good quality picture. Now the bad. The audio is what you would expect from built in TV speakers - unacceptable but no problem or so I thought. I have a one year old LG sound bar I really like. It would not connect. After research I found out that very few sound bars (other than Sony) seem to work with Sony TVs. LG bars are a definite no and the Geek Squad seems unaware of a workaround. Also the specifications indicate that the TV is compatible with Amazon Alexa. But when I try to set it up the TV says Amazon Alexa does not work on this TV. Should have researched more, but hope this helps you not make the same mistake.

    I had a 9:58 from last year and I buy a new TV sometimes too every year from Thousand oaks Best buy. This year I was excited to learn about the XR processor and I went ahead and purchased the 55 inch x90j . Well the first one I was real happy set it up and I put it on a table top and I went around the back I was checking it out and not even a half a pound of pressure on the bottom left if you're standing behind the TV the whole left half of the back bezel with flex in and out. So they sent me a replacement which came when it was downpouring 2 days ago and now the right side flexes in and out it's literally a loud popping sound , and when I told them about this they would not even warranty the TV they're like oh we don't cover broken bezels it's not broken it's just not put together well at all. On top of that there's enough of a gap in the rear that you can see the light coming out of the TV when you're watching TV from in front of it you can see it reflecting off the back wall extreme poor quality control. As far as the picture the first one was great the second one I don't know if somehow it got wet or what but the internet drops constantly didn't do it on the first one does it on this one so I'm going to go for one more and the TVs I've only had for 2 days the first one they picked up now the second one it's New Year's they're not open or I'd be there today I'm going to go tomorrow and if this one makes any noise and the internet drops and the picture can't perform the RGB from YouTube where you put the red green and blue screen to check for any dead pixels or serious blooming issues which this second one does have. Well long story short is if you are able to I recommend picking it up instead of having it delivered these two deliveries were the worst experience ever. As soon as I go back I will hope that they will make sure the people stay this time to open the box and make sure this one doesn't have any movement on the back or the bezels of the TV, and just wait up to a minute for me to plug it in and make sure power is on. I used to be strictly an LG OLED guy but got tired of the burning I had from 7:00 to 9:00 didn't get a 10 I do like to see one but it's overpriced I still stay with the LG sound bars with meridian technology and Dolby Atmos the 512s that actually pairs up with e a r c on the Sony TV and sounds phenomenal together and I got that as an open box for only 400 bucks which was amazing as it's regularly 1200. It's crazy that sound bars are more than TVs now.
