We are really enjoying it. The color is great! The picture is great!it is sturdy and well made and fairly easy to set up.

This has been one of my favorite investments. The best pitcher I've ever seen and great sound. For the price I'd definitely didn't go wrong.

Great out-of-the box calibration requires little tweaking to get the right picture for any use. Deep black levels make for fantastic contrast for an lcd, and the colors are very realistic. I love the 4k@120 capability and the HDMI 2.1 ports. There is some glare from my windows during the day, and off-axis viewing can make for a more washed out look as you move away from the center of the screen, but these aren’t really problems for my setup. Extremely satisfied with this purchase, particularly at the reduced price ($1200 for the 65 inch).

I bought this 65" Sony Bravia XR X90J several weeks ago. I have always bought Sony TV's. They are a more expensive option than most of the other brands out there, but I have always found them unbelievably reliable. At this price point, the picture quality and versatility of this TV are stellar. The picture is detailed, sharp, the blacks are black and the colors are vivid. It is a $1600 TV that I bought at Best Buy for $1300 on sale. I just wish the broadcast quality of my satellite signal was better. Time to cut the cable, so to speak.

I've never had a tv with such vivid picture and pixelation! It really feels like you're immersed in whatever you're watching. Absolutely incredible!

Fantastic quality LCD. I purchased this tv after several months of research, both online and in retail stores. This Sony has a very easy to use remote, and seamlessly integrates with my streaming services. I’m no expert, but without looking at an OLED side by side with this set, I couldn’t see much difference, especially considering the price. Highly recommended for a value set, and especially for PS5 use. Add a decent sound at and expect to enjoy this set for years to come.

image is incredible-software is third rate- cannot view bravia app- takes 3 minutes to connect to max and disney and peacock- at this point i bring them up on my phone and mirror the images

This tv has all that you need for next gen consoles: 120 hz, Dolby vision, just have to wait on VRR in firmware updates. The only gripe I have about this tv is that you have to physically switch on hdmi inputs in setting screen to get desired effects. That and the too few dimming zones makes blooming more noticeable. But for the price and sturdiness of the tv itself, it is more then worth it.

There's much to love about this set. If you're researched reviews, you'll know that the X90J is extremely well-regarded and it's very deserved. The settings right out of the box require very little tweaking for the picture to look as good as it can. You'll probably want it calibrated, but I actually was so pleased with settings I got on line: google rtings.com and youtube Vincent Teoh, that I'm still sitting with them. We're primarily movie watchers and the 4K image with a UHD Blu-ray or a 1080p blu-ray is outstanding. The usual apps also look great as good as any I've seen on a set at this price-point. So far, I only have one real caveat, but for some it might be substantial. There is pretty significant blooming on all black screens with bright white text- exactly the kind of thing you see in credit sequences. The detail is still solid in those instances, but ymmv in terms of how well you can deal with it. It's enough that I was surprised none of the expert reviewers really mentioned it. I'm still giving the set a 5-star review because it really is great in terms of overall picture quality and price point. It's not an OLED- as the blooming often reminds me- but it's about as good as you're gonna do for a set in this range.

X90J is the sweet spot for a non-oled. It is a great value since the price has come down quite a bit (approx 1200 for the 65 inch) and the XR processor really works some magic with upscaling, gradation, and motion. Local dimming is really good on this model too. I owned a 55 inch X90J and decided to "step up" to the 65 inch X95J for living room screen assuming it would be all that was wonderful about the X90J but just better and brighter. That was sadly not the case so I returned the X95J and own two X90J TVs now (a 55 inch and 65 inch, both wonderful) because the X95J was a blooming mess even with local dimming on high and brightness turned way down. The X90J offers a rich and premium experience which is a vast step up from the X85J and offers a better overall experience than the X95J IMO. I do recommend tinkering with the settings a little to get a picture that you really like so here are a few adjustments I like but find your own and if you screw it up you can just reset the settings for any given picture mode. I really enjoy the Cinema, Custom, and IMAX modes with varying degrees of adjustments.... Local dimming: High, Black Adjust: medium,  Gamma: -1 or -2, Black Level: 48, Adv Contrast Enhancer: play with this one to your liking but I usually have it on Low or off,  Peak Luminance: Low (most of the time), Gradation Preferred, Smooth Gradation: Low, Color: 55 to 60, Color Temp: Warm, Live Color: Same as Adv Contrast Enhancer, Reality Creation (this is some powerful upscaling tech so play with this but I set it to manual and have it anywhere between 25 and 65 as it works really well to upscale good HD to near-4k, but you can also set it to Auto or just turn it off as you like), Noise Reduction (digital and random): Auto or off, Motionflow: Custom, Smoothness: 2,  Clearness: 1, Cinemotion: High.

This television is great! Super clean image, enjoying 4K HDR content on it is a dream. The one thing I’m unhappy with is that there is a slight odor coming from the TV, a plastic like smell. According to Sony and other TV manufacturers, this is normal and should disappear with time. It’s been two weeks and the odor has certainly diminished, however it is still present. This is the only downside to this TV that I’ve personally experienced, other than that, I love it.

Fantastic Picture and Features, Would 100% recommend and considering buying same for an additional room.

Just purchased this for my living room. I currently have a x900E in my bedroom, so it’s comparable to this new one. Picture quality is clear, but if you’re in a bright room with a lot of windows, you WILL get a lot of glare. I had to put my curtains down. The interface is very user friendly and smooth. Haven’t had any issues with the tv since I purchased and updated the firmware. I debated buying the x950h but I also wanted to have the capability of 120hz gaming on the PS5 (whenever they finally become available).

Tv works great with my PS5. Family loves it for movies as well. Better then my 47" vizio from 2008.

Got this as an open box for my parents and set this up for them to replace an older Sony set. I think overall it is a good TV. Really liked how much quicker the interface is , especially compared to the x850D it replaced. Checks all the boxes when it comes to the latest features. HDMI 2.1 and VRR is not a concern as they don't game on this. The TV is noticeably brighter than the X850D, especially HDR content, but it is still not as bright as an X900F I have in my spare bedroom. Less blooming though which is a plus. With a few tweaks, you can get a good balance of colors and contrast on this set. My parents are thrilled!
