We also purchased this TV for a short-term rental condo in Myrtle Beach. Specifically, what I really like about this TV is its integration with various apps, such as YouTubeTV, YouTube, AcornTV, and BritBox. In particular, the ability to fast-forward through commercials within YouTubeTV is far superior to the same operation on an AppleTV box. As you might expect, each app handles the individual operations slightly different, but in general, the operation is very intuitive. Going back to one remote is also very convenient and provides more options than the AppleTV remote did. Size is great. My son commented on how much clearer the box displays were during the SuperBowl. The screen saver collection is much better than what we had on our AppleTV, though I must admit that it is a bit annoying that it keeps displaying the temperature in Myrtle Beach instead of our local temperature. The time is correct, but the temperature is wrong. This is a bug in ChromeCast, though I haven't been able to correct it. I suspect that it is related to using the same account and it is possible that most users will not experience the same problem. Finally, appreciated the simple integration with the Sony SoundBar. Plug in two cables and your done.

Ive always thought all 4k tvs were the same, just gives a 4k image, but boy was I wrong. I bought a hisense U8 about a year ago for the same price and the picture on this tv just blows it out of the water. I know this isnt sonys top model but its a step above any other tv ive ever purchased. I am now a sony lifer!

The also have an image burn-in problem, a relic of plasma and projection TVs. The Full Array LED picture is bright, stunning, and ultra sharp. If your viewing area is light and bright, this is a total entertainment center. Auto dimmngnwt night option. Be sure to get a good sound bar and subwooer.

Upgraded my TV

I always hated how I could see light in the corners etc on my other LED TV. When I'm watching something where there is a light bulb or light source in the show or movie it actually looks real, really impressive. Hands down the best TV I've ever had.

I got this for my master bedroom, but I didn’t want to spend a lot of money for a bedroom. So I went with this one. It exceeded my expectations by a lot. SO Nice, I Bought It TWICE

Everything from delivery, setup, ease of use was super smooth, quick and efficient. The image quality on this TV series by Sony is phenomenal. The crystal clear display and fantastic sound quality are the perfect match for watching any type of movie or playing any type of game. I was SO thrilled with this purchase that I just recently (today) purchased another one for my home office. Love this TV model!

As close to OLED picture without being an OLED

Sony is well renowned for having the best video processors in their tvs. My wife and i watched several of our favorite, older movies (Alien, Terminator, etc) and they all looked like newer films. Very bright and natural. About as good as it hets without being an OLED. I am very particular about audio and video quality.

Best TV for an affordable price.

Sony is pricey but for good reason. Their TV’s last forever, their quality is unmatched, this TV’s refresh rate makes water falls seem real and the brightness and definition will have you feeling like you are in a theater. By far the best bang for your buck.

Good color control across the screen and fine in a room with a variety of light conditions. I do note the VESA pattern is offset low on the set, which means that you may need to do some work to get things perfect if you have a replacement from a more centered VESA mount.
