This was purchased as a gift to son and family. They really are enjoying this purchase. This was not the original TV that we were going to buy, but after speaking with the employee, this was the best purchase for them within our budget.

Bought this tv 2 months ago based on the reviews. Picture, color, and brightness were great. On the 60th day, tv died, no power. Troubleshooted and called the service center for repair in Houston. Spent $1000 and am looking at another $740 in repairs. Very disappointed...

Frequent update notification aren't typical, so it's possible a previous update hasn't completed fully. We recommend following all on-screen steps carefully and ensuring the TV remains powered on until the update finishes. Great TV. Clear viewing screen. When hooked up to my new DENON Receiver the surround sound is wonderful. The entire family is enjoying every minute of the time spent watching our new Soney 65-inch TV.

There's much to appreciate about this tv but setting it up was not easy and I'm still having trouble getting the sound and character's mouths to be in sync and the color isn't as vibrant as it was in the store. Trying to fix these two things oaths tv has proven difficult.

If the audio and video on your TV are out of sync or there's an audio delay, please try some solutions below: Make sure that the TV has the latest system software (firmware) installed. If watching a TV program, try changing the channel to see if the problem occurs on other channels; if it only occurs on one channel, then the issue is with the broadcast. Make sure all cables are securely connected to the TV and the source device. Try playing a different video source to determine if the issue occurs with other connected devices. Set the Game Mode to Off when watching TV or playing a DVD or BD. Set the Game Mode to On when playing a video game. Perform a power reset on the TV. If there is a home theater system and a digital optical cable is used in the connection, manually change the Audio/Video Sync or Audio Delay setting on the home theater system (if available). I just had this new 65 installed by the Geek Squad 2 days ago. The next day, the TV did not show any picture but the audio was on for only HBO. The picture worked for the other apps and the actual cable tv. I had to unplug and plug it back in and it did nothing! This is not good for a brand new tv out of the box! The next morning the tv picture worked for all the apps including the one with HBO. I do not know if this was a glitch but this is disappointing to spend so much on a Sony and have this happen for a new tv that is not 1 day old!

The Geek squad technician was supposed to come back and make adjustment of the sound Bar, but he never did. I have multiple text messages from him telling me he is coming but he never did. I kept waiting and wasting my time several times based on his promises, but it was all in vain. The sound Bar is not functioning, and sound is coming out. I am very frustrated with this service!!!!

Great TV…but I would say the google software isn’t as intuitive as apple tv but again apple tv doesn’t go higher than 4k like this TV does all in all great TV

Vey good TV for $1,299.99 The only issue i having is changing the format. Using zoom on cable channels is fine but reading any cable channels are to wide to read.They must be back to normal or full picture. Zoom is fine for cable movie's.
