Sony TVs are not what they used to be

I had the guy from spectrum here for something and asked him to try to get it so I can turn them on with the spectrum remote. He said it could. But I also have to use the Sony remote to turn it on. And sometimes it comes on and says the boxes turned off. That is weird. I wish I had my old TV Some guy from spectrum said we had a bad chip so we gave it away I do not like having to use the spectrum remote, and then the Sony remote to turn it on. All these things come up. I just don’t like doing that I’m in my late 60s and I don’t like that at all

I love it!

Only complaint I have would be the sound quality, not as good but the rest of the features definitely make up for it! Nothing a good surround sound couldn’t fix.

It's okay but I wish I'd gave gotten an OLED tv.

Trying to fix these two things oaths tv has proven difficult.

If the audio and video on your TV are out of sync or there's an audio delay, please try some solutions below:
Make sure that the TV has the latest system software (firmware) installed.
If watching a TV program, try changing the channel to see if the problem occurs on other channels; if it only occurs on one channel, then the issue is with the broadcast.
Make sure all cables are securely connected to the TV and the source device.
Try playing a different video source to determine if the issue occurs with other connected devices.
Set the Game Mode to Off when watching TV or playing a DVD or BD.
Set the Game Mode to On when playing a video game.
Perform a power reset on the TV.
If there is a home theater system and a digital optical cable is used in the connection, manually change the Audio/Video Sync or Audio Delay setting on the home theater system (if available).

Chose Sony for the picture and because I have owned Sony TVs before. Fast forward to March 24 after I moved, my tv quit working. It was packed and moved by professional movers. I call Sony and the response is, well, it is out of warranty. No other suggestions or options. I looked on the web site and there are not licensed Sony tv people anywhere close (I live in a metro area). I find a tv repair person and he tells me that the led bulbs are not working. The TVs are so thin, any movement can damage them. The repairman can seem to find bulbs since the tv is so new, so I have a black screen on my wall. It appears the only option is to now buy a new tv. I am very dismayed that I took all of the precautions to move my tv and now it is useless. Is this now Sony quality????? No parts to even fix it, really? Do NOT move this tv if you want it to work again.

Movie watcher

Using zoom on cable channels is fine but reading any cable channels are to wide to read.They must be back to normal or full picture. Zoom is fine for cable movie's.

The picture is pretty good but I was hoping night scenes would look better in a well lit room. Sometimes there is very little detail. Just a lot of dark. I've had some issues with streaming apps so I would have to use my Roku. Within the last couple of months it lost the Internet connection and I would have to go to settings and reconnect. The last time it lost Internet it wouldn't reconnect until I shut down and unplugged and restarted the TV. Discouraging considering that this set is only 8 months old.

There are various settings that can be configured in [Picture] settings to improve the overall picture quality and the viewing experience on your Google TV.
