Good at first

I have always gone with Samsung TV's and will probabbly not buy another Sony. Bought in Nov 2016 and over the last year the TV guide no longer works will be up to 30 seconds to change channels this is with the OTA antenna. Will be on one channel and TV will just turn off. When you turn on the TV will take 2 minutes bore it will turn on due to the spinning icon like its the first time you turn on the tv like it's in the setup mode.

For some reason no voice control on the remote that comes with the TV but seems like the function by itself is supported.

Didn't last long

Would cost over $500 to fix. I guess they don't make them like they used to. Will be buying a new TV, not sure if I will stick with Sony.

I returned for the top Sony model which was $500 more and should not have been cheap in the first place . The better model is really great . Plasma tv's are still better but you can't buy them anymore .

Bad mount bolts location
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had to return this tv because I already had the mount installed above my fireplace in the perfect location, but the mounting bolts holes behind this tv are not in the middle of the tv, they are towards the bottom. This made mounting impossible with my currernt mount because it lifted the tv too high. Just fyi if you already have a mount installed and would like to keep it there.

Good Picture and Stopped Working

This is a terrible design for the power cord because you cannot buy a new one if that is the issue. The cord is connected to the TV and doesn't allow it to be exchanged out unless you probably have a service call. We did not have any issues overall with the picture or internet connection. HDMI and outlets worked fine. But the big problem was we decided to turn it on and it doesn't power on. This should not happen so soon with a Sony. We have had Sony TVs before and still do have 1 with no issues. Because this is out of warranty now and our mistake for not buying a protection plan we need to buy a new tv. I was originally going to buy Samsung since we have another Samsung as well and love it. Back to Samsung it is. Sorry but not even 2 years and we need another one. Very frustrating and this is the first time I can remember writing a review about a product.

Not great

Very Disappointed in picture quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The picture quality of this TV is inferior to the sharp aquos that I was replacing that was 5-6 years old. the 4k capability is currently pretty useless as most content is not projected in 4K. when we went to Netflix to see 4K images we did not see any enhancement to the picture quality. we are returning the TV and are very disappointed in geek squad customer support
