This TV is excellent!! I appreciate Best Buy for their excellent customer service. Before this TV was available, I tried 4 different 65" 4K TV's ranging from $1200-$1600. I was not happy with either. When this TV came out I thought to myself "this is the last 1 I'm trying." I am satisfied. The picture quality for movies and games are excellent. Connects to internet with no issue.

I purchased this sony XBR tv during holiday sales for $1000 bucks which was what my limit was for a 65 4k tv. This tv is good for that price point but I would not recommend it at the $1300 normal price, the vizio M series or one of the samsungs at the price point would be a better option imo. Pro: TV looks great and is top notice at handling motion, great for sports and video games Amazing view angle but not an issue for an at home tv. Con: TV is bad at having such a bright backlight due to being IPS panel and the colors are a bit washed out. Checking rtings.com for indepth tv reviews.

I purchased this tv a little over a week ago and I love it. The picture quality is superb. What sold me on this tv was the no glare screen. You see what's on television and not the reflections of what is in front of the tv. The one star deduct is due to the sound quality. Although the sound is ok, it could have much better. There is literally no bass. After installation, I decided I needed a sound bar. Purchased a Samsung sound bar for $147.99 and now I feel everything is perfect. Movie and sports watching has never been more enjoyable.

This set is a good value if you are wanting to break into 4k without spending an arm and a leg. The picture I feel could be sharper though. It is not as sharp as the samsung ks8000. There is a software update for it to be HDR. When I did the update however, the tv started deciding what my picture setting should be. I would put on the animation setting and it would switch back to sport or game. It would keep doing this. I felt as though I was not in control of MY tv. There was also some motion issues as well. I prefer to watch my television with the "soap opera" effect. It looks more lifelike and the image is MUCH sharper when it is activated. The donwside to that with this set is that images that move quickly, have pixelation that follow the objects that move quickly. You can literally see some type of pixellation around the object that is moving quickly. This is not a problem on the Samsung ks8000, but that has bad judder and flickering that this tv does not. I just don't know why anyone can't make a decent tv that is free of these issues. I returned this tv because of the lack of sharpness and the pixellation during fast scenes using the soap opera effect.

Excellent, The picture is good and works perfectly. I used Amazon Prime very often and the is no complaint. Moreover, I installed VLC and can watch movies over DLNA networt with external SRT subtibles. THe VLC app works like a medica player champion and very fast. My 2014 Sony smart TV is not able to play external subtibles and there is no VLC on Opera stores.

Finally connected the tv to my home theatre system. Set up was not complicated. The picture quality is incredible and even non 4k looks good. My only gripe is that the manual is just for basic set up AND it seems that Sony does not make their manuals available for downloading. Its all online. Call me "old school", but I also like to have a hard copy of a manual.

The best Sony TV I ever had ! No problem with pixels And people for having problem with software update you can go always update in your computer to the TV by Flash drive ! The picture is beautiful 4K and none 4K!!Highly recommend this TV for everybody but the price can't beat that Way better that Samsung can offer picture and price !!!

We purchased our TV due to wanting better picture and bigger screen. It took us literally 3 days to get this TV situated. My husband was to the point he wanted to return it. The picture was not at all like it looked in the store and his Xbox one kept going in and out and at times not connecting at all. We ended calling Sony and after messing with the TV and doing a full reset I ended having to call my cable company and upgrading to HD channels which of course is now a bigger bill. When the previous HD TV we had we never encountered any problems and saw the picture with no problem and high quality. We stayed on the phone with Sony to try to fix the problem with the Xbox one and we were on hold for 30 minutes and just hanged up the call. My husband ended having to factory reset his Xbox just to get it to work on this TV when we had no problem connecting it to our other HD TVs in the house. We finally got it down packed but still stuck with not all my channels being HD so we have half of the great picture. We prefer our old TV over this one.

The best Sony 4K tv!!! And if people got problem about software update you can always go online to update the software to your TV!!and no issues about pixels either!!and the Picture I ever seen on a Sony TV !!!4k And none 4k!!! Highly recommend this TV !!!

I purchased this TV in February 2018 to replace a dying Samsung TV (3 year old top of the line LED). I wanted to make a purchase that wasn't too expensive but gave me a chance to upgrade and future proof. To date I can say that this 4K HDR TV is inconsistent in picture quality. With a 4K feed from a source such as You Tube the picture quality is incredible and you really have the illusion of looking out of a window with the sharpness and clarity. With 4K movies or Blu ray discs "upscaling" the results aren't quite as good and with over the air TV broadcasts again not so great. Football was OK but hockey not so much. I have tried to reset the picture and have used settings I found on CNET and other sources and again the results are blah at best. The backlighting comes out in streaks and is really annoying and the blacks are blah. All in all an OK purchase but I guess I expected to much from a SONY TV.

I like the size. It fits well in my living room. The picture and color is wonderful. I don't have any, if none, 4K material but cable looks good on this TV. I have a sound system so I don't use the TV's speakers. The reason it's not a 5 star is because at times it can be a bit slow. Once the update is installed, it works great again.

The picture quality is incredible. The apps all work well, and it is easy to connect to the internet. You won't be sorry if you buy this tv. Sound is so-so, but I have it hooked up to my receiver, so it really doesn't matter.

From the time I set up I could tell the difference from 1080p to 4k. Without a 4k HDMI, I could see results from my xbox one and PS4. TV sharpness looks great. Highly recommend!

Bought this 65" to mount in the living room over the fireplace mantle. Was worried it might be too small, but it is perfect. The picture quality is awesome. Great TV.

Great TV for movies and sports! Clear picture with no light bleed. Sony did a great job with this TV, android system works well and build quality is top notch.

Great color. Streaming menus feel slightly slow but it's still enjoyable.

Good picture but for some reason it wants to restart all the time and you jave to wait on it and change the settings
