This is going to be short and to the point. We picked this up on a decent sale and I was hoping for a good 4K experience. What I got though exceeded my expectations. The picture is crisp and those black levels look so good. Very solid tv with good android integration as well.

As my first 4k TV, I am just blown away at the ability of the set to deliver such quality. Weather it is on Direct TV downloads or the 4k HD DVD's, it is just amazing. Had to upgrade my Direct Tv box to a 4k receiver and purchased a Sony 4k player. The 4k Discs will truly strut it's stuff. It is best quality when watching these discs. Streaming is very good but not quite as good. Upscaling is a great benefit to less quality shows and it shows. Tuner is always working to make picture as high quality as it can deliver. The tuner is very fast and TV lights up quickly too. Audio with the 4k DVD's is also better. I use addition sound bar and rear speakers. Only problem will be having to buy the great 4k DVDs to enjoy the best quality of the TV

This is such an amazing TV! Sony really outdid themselves on their X900e series. Very vibrant colors and with the HDR ready settings, the picture quality is out of this world. I would definitely recommend this TV to anyone looking to upgrade to a high-quality 4K TV with HDR.

i searched reviews for months about hdtv and sony always came out on top. i then narrowed down the models for our families needs. when this hdtv went on sale i pulled the trigger and purchased. great picture, easy to set up, really nice features. just a great all around tv.

We were amazed at the clear, sharp picture. We thought our present TV was fine, except for the sound, but when the new one was installed we thought WOW. The color is fantastic and the clarity can't be beat. Overall we were very impressed as have been friends and family.

Sony is back to claim the King of TV's. The picture is amazing, deep blacks, contrast and clarity is also incredible.I have a Bose Speaker System hooked up to the TV and it makes a world of difference. I love this TV & highly recommend it-you will not be disappointed!

I was torn between thus TV and the next lower model. Obviously, I chose this one. I am not disappointed. The colors are vivid. The brightness is more than sufficient for any medium sized room. The crispness of the picture is fantastic. I highly recommend it.

This tv is awesome! the picture and details are amazing. I can't say much about the sound since I have it connected to a Bose Soundtouch bar and woofer. But the picture is amazing. the menu layout is great also. Only reason I'm giving it a 4 stars is the remote has to almost be pointed directly at the sensor for it to register. so if you're laying down on the couch or at a weird angle, you may need to sit up, then go back to enjoying your show.

A surprisingly sharp and clear picture for such a large screen, 65 inch. This TV is without a doubt the most detailed with the brightest colors and the most detailed contrast of any that I have ever owned. I would highly recommend it to anyone thinking of upgrading,

Went to buy another, more expensive TV, when the salesman showed me the Sony. For less than 2/3rds the price, I got 95% plus of the performance of the more expensive one. 4K, colors and blacks are just great. If you can find a better 65" 4K TV for $1499, buy it.

This 65" Sony television has superior color which is true to life. The picture quality is superb and the sound is clear even at high volume levels. The remote is easy to use and pairs well with the Sony sound bar. I am extremely happy to have made this purchase.

Did all my research before Black Friday, and this tv was the best bang for the buck deal I could find. Full rich colors and the Blacks are on par with the Oled and Qled tv’s. Overall very happpy with my purchase. I definitely recommend a sound bar to go with it.

I didn't go in looking to buy a TV. We were in the market for one and this one stood out. It's a nice middle ground TV. Had a great sale. Overall I'm happy with this product. Very clear picture and sounds quality. The smart options are Android so that's nice too.

The good: Excellent picture for a non-OLED TV, Great whites, Excellent design (with grooves for wires in the stand). Best mid-range LCD-LED TV on the market right now. If you go for QLED, you will definitely get better picture but you will be shelling out so much more which, in my opinion, is not worth it. Go to cheaper brands and the picture wont be great. This TV sits at a sweet spot. The bad: The worst thing about sony tvs in general (and a lot of other android tv's) is that their user interface is very jittery. Transitions of pictures, as you scroll, are not great. So software is not that impressive for me. Although if you are using an Apple TV like me, you will get the best experience.

2 days in and I am already blown away by the quality of the picture of this TV. The options this comes with are more than expected. Easy setup and tweaked to my liking. If you want an awesome TV with 4K HDR and 120hz, this is the one for you. I know some will not agree with me but for me, its hands down the one to get for under 2000 bucks!

Stunning picture, color, contrast for a 4K HDMI TV. At $1500, offers outstanding quality in non-QLED flatscreen of this size and did not have to spend a fortune! Easy setup, no problems at all. Quickly recognized blue ray, cable, and even old Wii console.

There are cheaper 4k UHD sets, including the next step down from Sony (X850E), but I needed to replace a plasma and am not yet sold on the OLED models. I value picture quality above all else- don't really care about the sound out of the built-in speakers or smart TV features. The local dimming and black levels have been great. I've seen some edge-lit TVs from Samsung that get annoying clouding in dark areas and happy to report that this set does a very good job. Another thing worth mentioning is that it has an effective antiglare treatment- several sets I've had (and have) are like looking in a mirror, a dim mirror, but still highly reflective. This set diffuses reflections to the point were they don't interfere with everyday viewing. I do like the center-located stand position. So many other sets have the spread legs, which require a wide surface. This fits nicely on my equipment rack while I ponder wall mounting. There 2 things that I don't like: 1. The set has a massive power brick, which can be a challenge for some wall mount situations- and needs to be accommodated otherwise. Most sets have the power supply built-in and use a simple power cord. 2. There is a slight backwards tilt to the panel when using the included stand. It looks a little awkward and it does bother me. Googling it, the Sony is not the only set with this problem. Explanations (or excuses) range from the tilt making it more resistant to tipping to angling reflections so that they are less noticeable. The tilt is the only reason why I might go ahead and wall mount, even though with my current set up I don't necessarily have to wall mount. Considering the price point and that it's an upper-mid-range model, I'm satisfied. Can't imagine spending more for for the X930E or Z series.

This was the model recommended by the BB Consultant after my in-home consultation. The pictures are stunning and rival many of the OLED TVs I saw in stock at the BB store. It was a WONDERFUL choice - in that it gives a great pic - at a reasonable price.

I actually bought this tv for my son, he is very happy with this tv. We bought this tv to pair with his ps4 pro. We already own a 65" old so we wanted to go with a lcd tv. Sony had this fairly priced for the quality, and we are happy with the purchase.

We had an old 60" Sony projection TV with the picture definitely not high def anymore. Although I changed the bulb, the picture was just average. I saw the Sony while at the Best Buy near me andthought the picture was great. I was waiting for the price to drop, and at $1,500, I thought it was a good deal. After setting it up and getting really good HDMI cables, the picture is magnificent! I cannot see any reason to spend an additional $500 to get the 930 series over the 900 series, as I cannot believe it could improve a great deal over the picture of the 900, at least to my eyes. Football games you can see individual blades of grass/turf! Faces, you can see pores! Great TV!
