Even when looking only at Sony and only at 65", there are so many different models. Salesman was very patient in explaining the differences and we read all the in-store information. This was the perfect choice. Set up was a bit complicated, otherwise would have been 5 star.

I purchased these airpods to work out and they fit perfectly and do not fall down. Highly recommend them.

The picture quality is great, but the software needs to be reset. Screen freezes on the home screen and requires turning off the tv and restarting to correct the problem.

My new Sony XBR65X900E is a fabulous product and a super value. I'm glad I stepped up the the 2017 "E" series on the advice of Mike my Best Buy associate.

Sony is rich as always. However I have some drawbacks to mention. For some reason, Sony chooses to go with Android TV. It’s hanging sometimes also the UI experience is not that great. For sure you need to have additional sound bar / speakers to get the full tv experience.

Sony is great. Lots of options and settings, sheets with picture setups for various preferences would be nice. Lack of 4K content biggest hurdle.

Excellent picture on this TV! It's not an OLED so while viewing dark scenes in a dark room you can see some opportunities with black levels/blooming when local dimming kicks in, but the black levels are still really good for a sub $4000 tv and a nonissue for me as I usually have some lighting on while viewing. One issue that I do have is that there is a learning curve to the features/settings available on the tv that are not adequately explained in the included manuals. You have to do some digging on forums/youtube to get the best out of it.. how to set advanced color temperature values, what features to disable/enable, etc... For example if you have a 4k HDR source you have to make sure that you have enhanced hdmi enabled, light limiter disabled (both in settings menu on home screen) and that you are plugged into inputs 2 or 3. 1 and 4 will still work with 4k sources but will not display hdr. This TV does a really amazing job with upscaling, motion (I am a fan of the "soap opera effect"...don't hate..) and really stretches the dynamic range of SDR content, so much so that I didn't realize that I hadn't enabled HDR sources on both the TV and receiver (see above on enhanced hdmi) until a few months after purchase. Once HDR was actually running I was blown away by the depth added to the picture. Highlights are very bright (to the point that I have no desire for a brighter set) and shadows are deep. Colors also get richer and color gradients are smoother. UHD blu-ray is amazing as well...Best way so far to show off what this tv can do (planet earth 2 and revenant are crazy). All in all I am very satisfied with my purchase and not the slightest bit remorseful for not spending more.

I've reviewed LG,SAMSUNG and SONY before I'm going to buy a TV for my new house. I'm sure I made the best decision. High quality and my son loves it.

One of the greatest investments I have made in a while! Great product! It can be a little complicated at first, but is awesome to come home to !

My opinion is that sony is a great television and this is one of the best tv. A great addition and compliment. You won’t go wrong with the tv

It looked way better at store though, I really think that store models should display how it will look like with your cable company and not with ultra 4K hd because when you set it up with your cable even the HD channels don't look as clean as it does at the store

Would definitely purchase this TV again, it had all of the software compatibility of the other brands without the huge price tag.
