||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.When I first started watching the TV after install the entire screen was pulsing at 120Hz.. It was very noticeable on the green and lighter backgrounds. I'm HDMi via cable box. I power cycled, adjusted contrast etc.. including some on line research into set up settings. I called Geek Squad and arranged a replacement as it was day 2 of the install and within the 15 day window. No issues on that. However the next day the pulsing is gone. I've let it run for a hours to see if it's heat. I've let it sit overnight a couple of times and still the issue is not repeatable. Possibly a calibration algorithm needed to settle? The power supply switching inducing noise? I checked other electronics in the house for possible interference. Anyway, now I don't know whether to buy extended Geek Squad protection and keep this one or still get the new one coming in a few days. The bottom line is this was disappointing out of the box. It looks great now but I have doubts about the long term reliability and build quality. With that I can't recommend to a friend. My previous Panasonic Viera 50 inch Plasma lasted 13 years.

It is quite heavy compared to other brands of this size and slightly bulky in the back. It also requires a bulky power source similar to that of a laptop charger.
