Good, but not great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Went to Best Buy to purchase a 65" LED 2160 4K ULTRA HD TV. After looking at several choices, the salesperson talked me into spending $500 more for a "900E" model. Not sure if it is that much better than the "850E" model?

Great colors , awful clarity.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. On my second 65x900e and watching any 1080p content (cable box, netflix, android tv), whether upscaled to 4k or left at 1080p, the TV is blurry in the details. My old M60 Vizio would show peoples pores and the skin was so clear you thought it was a real, the Sony's picture makes the faces look airbrushed and pixelated. I tried new cords, bypassing my AVR, new coax cable and it does it with both TV's. love everything else about it. Totally bummed. Guess I'll try a Samsung.

Great Picture
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My only complaints are that I find it a little more confusing to operate than the Samsung TV. Also, is not compatible with apple products, but is with android products. Unless of course I install an Apple TV.

Not great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this Sony tv after reading several reviews and write ups. The main quality I was looking for was a good motion refresh rate for watching sports. It failed. Should have bought LG OLED.

Picture not as smooth as I’d like
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picture not as smooth as I’d like. The blacks are really grainy. But it’s not very expensive so I guess that’s what you get. I’ll go back to Samsung next time.

Best Purchase You Can Make This Year
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just upgraded from a 47" LG non-smart TV circa 2009. Almost 9 years with that TV I decided it was time for something more recent. I researched different 4K TVs for several months beforehand. I bought the 65" Sony sight unseen. Took a chance with all the reviews scoured across the internet. I'm sure glad I did! I run my Xbox One X to an Onkyo TX-NR555 to the Sony's HDMI 2 port. Be sure to enable 4K to external devices in the Sony's settings after initial setup. 4K blu rays and 4K gaming are currently best options to get the most out of this TV. John Wick Chapter 2 coupled with 5.1 new 4K immersive sound and perfect 4K picture is the single greatest thing I've ever seen and heard on a TV. OLED is still unproven for longevity and is still far too expensive. In my opinion, this is the best TV on the market without paying a premium and has the picture quality and brightness to give fans of OLED a run for their money. Buy it now!
