After just one weekend with this tv I am very impressed. The home automation intergration is good and I know it will only get better. Works great with google home. Picture is really good too with awesome 4k pictures. The backlit makes a huge difference compared to my previous samsung plasma and our other samsung edge lit Led. Highly recommended this over the 800 series i was considering. Debated between the 75 inch 800 SERIES and the 65 inch 900 series. So glad I choose the slightly smaller size but better picture.

I have had this tv for about 7 months and I have been very impressed with the PQ. The only downside for me was the clunky OS with I barely use since I have a fire stick that's connected to my Oppo 203. And out of the 4 HDMI ports only two inputs (1,2) have full bandwidth capability . but that is really no issue for me because I have an A/V receiver . If you are on the fence about getting this set don't second guess yourself especially since the price drop its a no brainer .

I was looking for a new TV for the bonus room, but the wife said just buy one for the living room and take the other (Sony) upstairs. When I went to Best Buy, I looked at Sony's only. The XBR900e 55" was outstanding! Yes they had OLED and a 65" etc. but this one fit our space. Note, You know at the store all the TV's are playing the best video to make you go, wow, and they do, but it was so good, I had to buy it (price was right also). Let me tell you, the picture is the same as I saw in the store! It is really something to see. I spent a few minutes getting the settings the way I like them (looking on the Net) and wow, the whites are white. In fact my wife thought she may need sunglasses! The blacks are great also. The apps are good and the only thing that it is a little negative is the view angle you lose some details. You have to really get off angle to lose the details. I also have a Sony sound system which I hooked up to the TV and sounds great. TV sound is okay. Bottom line, buy this one, this is a great TV. It is like being there!

Honestly for the price you will not find a better TV. It may not have as many dimming zones and strong internals as the Z9D, and for the price you are paying it's not supposed to. but with that being said... it's fantastic. picture quality and motion handling is hands down fantastic! Contrast and color are great for its class price wise. It really is the best bang for your buck TV. if you aren't concerned with dolby vision, then you really won't wrong with this TV

I came from the KS8000... The One Connect is great idea, but failed me. I am so happy it did. This display costs a scoootch more, but so worth it. What else are you going to stare at for hours on end? At any rate, I'm one of the few adults that still play Infinite Warfare, I never new the detail they put into that game. The floor tiles have texture, little cracks, you can see reflections in the glass, the guns have such intricate designs... I mean really, the whole thing is mind blowing. Its just so much more crisp, or detailed. Perfect display, for the price. If you have infinite money, you can find a better TV. But for now, this is better than any TV I've ever seen.

I did a lot of research before buying this TV. The upscaling ability is what sold me because our cable provider is unlikely to have much (any) 4K content for a long time. We have a 42" 1080 HD TV in the bedroom and this set puts it to shame. To make matters more striking, this set replaces an old Sony 55" 720 DLP with a bulb that was on its last legs. So, I was expecting to be impressed. But, the color, detail and overall picture quality of the 900E is even better than I hoped. The tech reviews said it had near 4K quality on normal HD signals. I'm certainly no expert but I'm stunned.

I originally purchased the Samsung MU9000, but was disappointed with the picture, so I returned it, and brought home this sony instead. Right out of the box the picture was better, next to no light bloom, deeper blacks, sharper borders. The only negative that I've noticed so far is the android operating system that this TV uses. There is some lag, not much, but some, and its a bit confusing to get the apps organized in a way that makes sense. Once I figured it out though, it seems to be fine, certainly not something that would make me get rid of a TV with this kind of picture. A plus-my Spectrum TV remote controls all the functions on this TV, which it didn't with the Samsung, so thats a plus.

Best tv ever. Works perfect with Sony 4k player and soundbar. The staff at Best Buy are the best. Great experience. Picture is flawless. Sony is the best. Hands down.

Ive had this TV for a while now it has no issues shows the best movie view I've seen. Updates perfectly no issues. I've had a lot of TV's and sony was the best. Still have Sony KDL 3D internet tv that I've been playing my Xbox and playstation for years and haven't had any problems with it still updates and looks better and better. Tell you the truth i don't know which one looks better. Sony is the best in my book. I want buy another Samsung to save my life. Have a Q series Left haven't had any problems yet but I don't play it like the two Sony TV'S. Had a Samsung Android 120hz in place of Sony Android 120hz . Nothing but problems with the Samsung update issues TV would not play at all had to call Samsung to fix or put codes in to make TV picture to come on never will buy another one.

Very happy with purchase got 65 inch. At home picture quality with cable provider is excellent. Upscale picture quality is very good. Also Sony sound bar is a must and well worth it. I have bought a few TVs over the years and this is the first time it actually looks as good at home as it did in the store.

Going on 5 years now I’ve had this tv. Been through a move and 2 lightning strikes also a toddler throwing things at it and still works like new! Hopefully when this one does die, the next Sony I buy will be as good! Can’t recommend enough!

It's been an awesome TV... But lately have been having problems streaming. Also with the TV recognizing the surround sound system... Usually, but not always, disconnecting from power for a few minutes and then powering it up and letting it reboot will remedy the problem!!!

Thanks to the best buy rep, I picked up this TV without seeing the demo version. Wanted to buy xbr65x930d, but that was out of stock. So just took a chance based on what the rep explained. The TV is awesome, stunning display, and natural colors.

Great tv, great picture, sound is ok. We have a sound bar, so no big deal.

Picture was good quality but it only lasted 7 years. I have a Panasonic and Samsung that are both going on 14 years!

I bought this TV over the weekend to replace my 50 inch Panasonic Plasma TV. I spent the last 2 weeks reading reviews and watching reviews on YouTube and came to the conclusion that the Sony 65XBR900E was the best picture to price value. I was blown away by the picture quality vs Samsung and LG at the BestBuy store. Setting up the TV was a little frustrating and the picture was not the greatest out of the box. My advice is the following: 1) Update the system as soon as you’re prompted to by the TV 2) Set the picture adjustment to Cinema Home 3) If you’re connecting to a Apple TV 4K you MUST use a high quality HDMI cable with a throughput of 18gbs or higher. I used a new 48gbps HDMI cable. Anything less and you will have snow or a blank screen if you’re using HDMI #4 (ARC) Once you do that the picture is amazing.

I was debating between the LG OLED 65B6P vs the Sony XBRX900E. The sales associate demoed them both for me and LG actually looked better with the movie demo he performed. I decided to go with the LG and a week later returned it because I was unhappy with the way the LG OLED looked with normal HD cable broadcasts. It looked great playing blu-rays and streaming services but very foggy with cable, even after numerous calibrations. After reading and watching numerous reviews between LG, Samsung and Sony I decided to go with the Sony XBRX900E. Cable looks great, blu-rays and streaming services look great. I am VERY happy with this TV and highly recommend it for people serious about 4K content due to the price point. For people looking for a nice 4K tv and not really wanting to invest and pay for an expensive tv, definitely look at Samsung.

Absolutely love the tv. Clear gaming and movies. Am having an issue now with reboots but going to contact geek squad!

I was going to purchase the 850E until I saw the picture of this set. Easy setup that allows you to use the set minimally with cable remote or get crazy with apps and streaming. It was worth the extra money over Samsung and LG.
