This TV is amazing! The picture clarity is great and the colors are vivid and bright. Sports look amazing on this TV. Can’t wait for 4K content to fully utilize what this TV can do.

good picture quality, good smart tv for the money.

We purchased this TV for our bedroom our previous equipment was also a Sony purchased about 20 years ago. It work fine but was not HD or smart. Our new unit has great color and sound

The Sony 65" TV is clear and the colors are brilliant and the facial features of reporters and newscasters are not blotched. I'm glad that Maxell at 695 introduced me to the Sony.

Picture is beautiful straight out of the box. Wish there was a manual with the TV in the box instead of printing it off the internet but don't let this stop you from buying the TV.

There are so many choices when it comes to large screen televisions and the technology used for them, so making a decision can be difficult; worse if you know what you're doing. My first large LCD television was a 47" Sony Bravia. The power supply died and I replaced it with a Samsung 55". I fixed the Bravia and it's still in use today in my bedroom and far outperforms the Samsung. So, when it was time to replace the Samsung (it still works) I knew I was not going to consider another Samsung. I focused on LG and Sony. LG had some impressive OLED televisions, but for the time I keep those I was worried about blue fade. I choose the Sony XBR65X900E and I am very pleased. I had previously purchased a Sony UHD Bluray player and was anxious to use it. Along with the TV, I purchased Planet Earth II. Not surprisingly, I purchased Planet Earth previously as a way to test the HD video. The picture is impressive. What I like: matte screen (glossy screens are just dumb), HDR, auto-detecting active input. While it's the biggest large screen unit I have, it's also the lightest. What I don't like: the "normal" video mode. Never use that on any display. Start with a Cinema or Pro mode immediately and tweak from there. That's not a fault in the display, but it has to look impressive in the store which is dislike any living room. I could have selected one model down, but figuring the sale that was running at the time and how long I keep the units, I decided the localized dimming was worth it as much as I like watching movies. Most content I watch is not 4K, but the picture still looks great and I am not disappointed with my purchase.

I am not really a big tv watcher but my husband kept bugging me for a new tv. Our old one was 15 years old and outdated with all of the new technology. I finally caved in and so glad that I did. He does all of the research so I trust his opinion. Best Buys was having an awesome sale so I decided that it was time. Wow! I couldn't believe the picture. I kept saying this over and over again. So sharp and clear, it seems that you are in the location of the story. I would highly recommend this to the occasional tv watcher to the fanatic. Great purchase, well worth it.

This tv looks good! It replaced my previous Sony Bravia which I had and enjoyed for 7 years, I handed that one down to someone as a gift as an excuse to buy this new Sony Bravia.

We have been a Sony family since the days of the Walkman, so it is no surprise to us that yet another Sony product is simply outstanding. WE are by no means experts and maybe the higher end TVs for twice the price deliver better picture, but if so, I certainly cant tell. This TV is gorgeous, light for it's size, easily mounted on the wall. The picture is outstanding and the menus are easy to use. highly recommended.

I was looking for a television for our new addition which has 15 windows. I was concerned about glare and color. No concern needed this television handled the windows perfectly.

After reviewing online i was torn between this set and the comparable Samsung. After taking delivery i was by no means regretting my decision to buy the Sony 900. The picture is beautiful, the setup is almost too easy and the android operating system is, in my opinion, easier to navigate than the OS on my other Samsung televisions. Not to mention even the picture from a 1080p signal is almost as rich as picture from 4k.

Had this TV for about 3 weeks now, nice quality display. But audio is not good, you need an external audio device like a soundbar or home theater. The up scaling is really good.

Best buy employess were grear in refering me to this tv, for my gaming and movie watching. Being black Friday weekend i expected a long wait and yet we were in and out very fast

Just plugged it in and everything was great. Easy set up. Plug and play. Netflix came right up. Was the cause of several nights of binge watching several series and a few movie.
