I always cut corners with technology but having been using the same old 1080p TV for years, I finally pulled the trigger and bought this (but I still cut corners because I looked everywhere for an open box display). The amount of customization to the picture can be overwhelming for the beginner, but it definitely looks great and is a great intermediate step to OLED. They updated the home screen and I’m not crazy on the layout, but it’s a small issue to an otherwise terrific display.

Love this TV. This is my 4th Sony Bravia TV. I’ve always had good luck with Sony; beautiful picture quality, easy to set up and use.

This is our 2nd Sony TV in recent years and the features are getting better and better. Packaging was easy to open, remove tv, and setup. Setup to our network was also easier than our old Sony tv from several years ago. Picture quality has been great. Have watched several movies and also played PS4 on it with the kids several times and the picture is very nice. Turns on quickly and also connects to Netflix or Amazon Prime much quicker than our other tv. Glad I listened to the sales rep and went with this product series.

Beautiful picture wth vibrant colors. It has a direct button to Netflix. Very easy to navigate to other programs such as Pandora.

Have only had this tv for a couple of weeks and am totally satisfied so far. Colors are great and size is perfect for our location.

This TV is great sound and picture quality but I have had to return one sound bar already thinking that it may be not working properly. Now that I’m experiencing the same issues with the new sound bar I am thinking it may be an issue with the TV.

Recently replaced a Vizio 55 inch tv with this Sony. What a difference in color, clarity and sharpness. This is an awesome product

We wanted a larger TV, but were unsure of which brand was best for our budget . The Sales Associate showed us the available models with a discussion of "pros" and "cons" of each. We are very pleased with the model we selected.

Absolutely wonderful picture, especially if you are trying to avoid the prices of a high end TV. Works wonderfully with Xbox One X!

After a significant amount of comparative reviews, we decided on the SONY 65" 900 as a replacement to our SAMSUNG SUHD (which sadly fell off of the wall). We would have gone for the same SAMSUNG, however, since the original purchase in 2016, the SAMSUNG SUHD had turned into their Quantum Dot display, and significantly increased in price. Enter the SONY 900. While not having the extremely BRIGHT picture of the Samsung, it has a more realistic color palette. And with the multi-zone back lighting, dark scenes are more tolerable, and the colors are still rich, without looking like they have been enhanced by crayola markers. In addition, the physical appearance is nice and simple. Thin, black bezel, and easy to access plugs. On top of all of this, we purchased an OPEN-BOX, and could not be happier!!!!! We would highly recommend this SONY to anyone.

This TV has the perfect size for a typical leavingroom. Installation was easy. Seamlessly connect to the network and has great quality.

HDR10, great contrast and brightness, and Google assistant to boot. Unfortunately it currently does not work with Google Home.

First of all, we love the TV as it has a terrific picture, sound is quite good, and there are many neat options (like Live Football Mode which when paired with Sports Sound made for a great Super Bowl Game experience).. The only reason we don't give it 5 stars is that the setup has a bug that is apparently well known to Sony. We got into an endless loop during the google setup process. On YouTube there are videos by Sony on how to fix this that involve rebooting the TV operating system. It wasn't that difficult but I was surprised that we had to do this on a brand new TV. Anyhow, if you get this gorgeous set here's a tip: skip the setup process when you're first getting started. Once you get the TV working with cable/satellite, then go back into settings and do the google setup and it should work. I hope this info helps someone!

This TV is great! Easy set up, beautiful picture. Watching football is like being at the game. Would highly recommend this TV set.

The Sony x900E has an amazing picture, easy setup, and a number of streaming services built right into the menu. The Android software and google functions are slow and clunky. Once that is updated, best value in the mid price TV spectrum.

Looks great on my wall. Picture is sharp and colors are vivid. Watch the National Geographic-type shows and you’ll be amazed!

I have owned and enjoyed 6 Samsung LED’s over the years. When my 12-year old Samsung finally died I went in search of a replacement along with an old friend who installs high end custom home theaters for those who can afford his services. After extensively researching the current offerings I surprised myself by passing on the new Samsung and instead going with the 65 inch SONY X900E. I have no regrets. This is a darn good TV. At least so far. Longevity, of course, is yet to be determined. I had initially had my sights set on an OLED, which may or may not be the wave of the future. But that technology has had some growing pains and the potential “burn in” issue keeps resurfacing in the literature. This SONY is so close to the OLED and so much less expensive that I decided to go for it instead. I’m very happy that I did. After spending a few days tweaking the settings I now have truly excellent crisp video with accurate color and better motion handling than any of my previous Samsung’s could ever match. No TV is perfect. The quality of the video display inevitably varies from program to program. The store displays are set up to maximize the bling. You never really know for sure what you’re getting until you take your new toy home and play with it. A little patience with the settings goes a long way for any new TV. There are a number of guides available on YouTube which can be very helpful in learning to understand just what effects the upteen video settings do and can demystify the whole process. The folks at Best Buy were cordial and knowledgeable. As long as this SONY X900E continues to hold up over time, I can solidly recommend it. I can’t comment on the TV’s audio quality. I’m running it through a home theater setup. The WIFI connectivity is excellent. Lots of apps are included. The remote works well. I’ve had this SONY for a month or so now, and yet every time I turn it on I’m still genuinely impressed. It’s a great TV. I’d buy it again.
