I really like this TV, the picture is so much clearer than my previous one, a 5 year old LG Plasma. I wasn't sure it would be because the room it is in has a lot of outside light, but it has noticabley less reflection problems than the LG did. And while the LG was 60" and this 65", the Sony actually seems smaller because the screen goes almost all the way to the edges (i.e., the border is much smaller).

This was an awesome fathers day surprise! For an LED tv with Full Array Local Dimming it does a great job with contrast and the brightness is amazing too! The X1 processor from Sony does a fantastic job of taking all content and upscaling it to near 4K & HDR. Even a low 480p DVD looks much better on this set. It has mediocre sound & no Dolby Vision support, but cost a significant amount less than the 930 or 940 from Sony. All in all a great TV from sony and worth a look if your tv is more than 5 years old!

Got very lucky with this purchase! Saw the floor model but hated the price. Just happened to be an open box available and picked it up. Knowing what I know now it would have been worth the price. Picture is extremely clear on cable box, Apple TV, DVD player, both hard drives, and my computer when I hook it up directly. Sound is not bad either. Still use my sound bar during movies but it is just fine without it. All the other options and online systems are very useful and simple. Can't go wrong with this TV

Best Sony UHD TV in a while, the only TV to beat this one is Sony OLED.

Read up on many reviews on multiple tv's to select a good starting theater display for the house. This is definitely one of the best LED TV's you can get before OLED and it's been a great experience so far with it.

I was looking at a Samsung 55 inch but the more I read about the 900 series Sony the more impressed I was. My old living room TV was a Sony and it’s been running strong for over 10 years. This is a perfect upgrade.

I’m a Sony nut so take this with a grain of salt. But this is my first 4k TV and it is simply amazing. I’m sure there is very little difference between Sony and Samsung but I still like going with Sony. I picture quality is amazing and feels natural. The only down fall in my opinion is all the app/content that won’t work until you subscribe. They should include a subscription with the purchase.

If your looking for the ultimate TV viewing/sound experience... look no more. The Sony 900E coupled with the Sony surround that I just purchased is all you need. The picture quality is unbelievable and the attached Sony surround system compliments the viewing experience. I am also enjoying the many features this TV has to offer such as the voice activated commands button on the remote. Really cool feature and especially how fast the results are brought up of what you are searching for.

tv works great and the picture is awesome while watching football games

Bought this TV for entertainment room in the basement. The important thing is that the picture quality and the processor are fantastic. Whoever, some other features are not very well thought out. The design for mounting to a wall is less than ideal as the bracket mounting holes are only about 8 inches apart at the center of the TV. With a TV this size it makes it really hard to adjust the tension on the bracket that locks the tilt of the TV. Also, the power cord input is on the opposite end of the TV which makes it very difficult to route with other HDMI, and sound cables and the cord to the hoaxie power supply transformer was barely long enough.

Great picture. Great color. Great size. Love everything about this TV. Love that it has one button for Netflix.

The clarity and color is wonderful on this TV and the depth of picture makes everything life-like. Would highly recommend

Can’t beat the picture quality. Only knock is sound is average at best.

Great television. The price was marked down when I bought it and a few days later it was reduced again and they gave me a refund for the difference. Josh S was fantastic in helping us choose the correct product.

Happy with the picture and we purchased extra years of guaranteed service. Sound bar addition will be better sound quality. Remote control response is a little slow but works faster if we choose the function and push the enter button.

I always look around at what is offered in TV's before buying and I am sure glad I selected this one. The picture is so real like you feel like you are in there with them. I don't think anyone could be disappointed in the picture on this TV, Sony is always a real good choice. Only down side is the manual is not very helpful in explaining the functions available and does not come with the TV which is normal now days. Went online at Sony and got it but it is not real good, thank goodness for google.

I researched this t.v. for over a month and compared it to many other models. From what I heard, it was the best you could get for the money. After a month in convinced that was true and I made the best choice.

my 1st Sony in years. I am a strong Samsung guy but Samsung's issues with products lately caused me to try Sony. So far the picture is great. I think it is a bit dark (probably to enchance HDR) I wish there was a users manual included but there isn't. I cant seem to find how to adjust anything using just the remote. I need to download the manual and research my issues. Every TV I have had in the past has been more on screen user friendly...not the TV's fault. Overall sharp picture...needs tweaking.

Awesome color and definition. Sound very good straight out of TV. Hooked to surround sound , sounds great.
