Love my 65xbr930e from Best Buy! Love the picture with Dolby Vision and 4k on Netflix. Gave it 4 stars because the settings menu is horrible, and everything is buried. It is a pain to get to some of the settings. Love how my Xfinity 4k cable box and Xbox One X looks also. Would definitely recommend a sound bar though.

Pros I bought this set and accompanying soundbar after looking at it and LG 65C7P. Set up was intuitive and not too bad. Remote voice control very good. Picture was amazing. Cons Tv kept losing sync with sound bar and required continuos calls to Sony support to reset TV, It was never able to sync with Amazon Echo, first Sony blamed my iPhone app then Amazon. Also voice search would not search Amazon video. Sony didn't know why. I assume it has something to do with the built in Google search controls. Finally after the last 30 min. Sony support call which left me with sound coming out of the sound bar and non functioning volume controls on both tv and sounder remotes. it went back. Great TV but not really ready for prime time. Was too complicated.

My TV is not even one month old. I have had several issues where the TV would would not turn on until I unplugged the power cable for 30 seconds to 2 minutes. This happens randomly and is not fun when trying to catch a sporting event (I don’t have a DVR). Not sure if it is the Android software or the DPS board or something else. I have always been a Sony guy and never had issues on my old Sony TVs before Android so who knows. I’m getting a tech over here soon. Since the TV is less than one month old I may return this for a different brand TV. This hassle is definitely not worth the $2-3K price. May go LG or Samsung, I’m also half tempted to sell my PS4 Pro and go Xbox One X too. To think I almost went back to Xperia and picked up a new phone to go with this TV.

    I’m lost. Help!

Just bought this tv. Hook it up and did the upgrade so there isn’t any outstanding software update, put on the NFL game, and the picture doesn’t look as good as my old Sony (from 6 years ago). Even hooked the old tv backup just as confirmation that the Giants-Redskins looked better on the old tv. What am I missing? Did I get a dud? Really not looking forward to the possibility of having to go back out on Black Friday to return a tv.

This review is actually for the XBR65X930D. I have had a couple issues where the TV would restart and a couple of times it would not turn on.Unplugged it and plugged it back in and it starts. Last night it decided that it was done. It will not turn on at all. Called the Geek Squad and followed their direction s but no dice. Went to the store today and was told to talk to Magnolia. They gave me a printout with my warranty info and told me to call their service number. After it disconnected me twice and was on hold for nearly 14 minutes and finally elected to press 1 and leave a message. Very disappointed as I hear this is a common problem with the 930D.

Picture is poor quality, service?, none. Buy the best in the store at the time and it's all junk. Never again. I'll buy the cheapies at Wal Mart. Don't get caught in the sales person's trap.
