    Sony Never Disappoints

This is my 5th Sony Tv going back 27 years. I've never had one fail yet and have always been amazed with Sony's picture quality. Plus, they just don't break. My last one is still going after 10 years and looks the same as day 1. It's a 55" Bravia LCD hanging on the wall upstairs. I bought this 65" for the downstairs game room. 4k is absolutely beautiful and regular 1080p hd is stunning as well. The TV looks great out of the box with several picture setting to choose from. This is not a full array led but a does have the rear LED array. Which is much better then edge lit for viewing angles and brightness. The audio is also very good with plenty of volume comparable to a soundbar. You also get 4 HDMI ports of which two are for 4k. The Smart features are excellent and intuitive. I got rid of our Roku because it's that good. One feature to note that many TVs in the price range don't offer is an ambient light sensor. This adjust the screen brightness automatically depending on the rooms lighting. A must have feature in my opinion for nightime viewing. Otherwise the TV would stay to bright. those are the little things Sony does right and why there just a bit more expensive then the Korean and Chinese brands. There's a reason they have the lowest fail rates and highest reliability ratings of any brand period.

    Excellent TV

The Sony 65” Class X800G Series is an excellent TV with a stunning 4K UHD display. The picture quality is vibrant and crisp, making it perfect for movies, gaming, or everyday viewing. The Android TV platform is intuitive and offers a wide variety of apps, making streaming effortless. The sound quality is decent for built-in speakers, but pairing it with a soundbar elevates the experience. Setup was straightforward, and the build quality feels premium. The only downside is the remote. Its range is limited, which can be frustrating at times, especially in larger rooms. Aside from that, this TV is a fantastic choice for its price point. Would recommend it if you’re looking for a great mid-range 4K TV!

The tv picture is crisp and clear. Easy to use remote and control features. Only issues is the set up instructions appeared to have a bad with 6 screws that were needed to set up, they are not needed and did not come in the box. I spend 30 min looking for them but the tv stand only needed the 4 screws. Overall, great purchase and I got it on sale saving $200.

This is a fantastic 4K TV for the price. I admit I'm using this TV as a stop gap while waiting for OLEDs to drop in price, but I was extremely impressed when I saw this on the floor beside an OLED and a X900. While the colors aren't as vibrant as the more expensive X900 or OLED series, the colors still pop and motion clarity is excellent. The difference between this TV and the Quantum Dot Samsung TV it replaced was night and day. You could see the difference between the IPS panel and the VA panel it replaced. My wife was amazed at how vibrant and life-like 4K media was compared to the washed out Samsung. Despite being an IPS panel, motion also was significantly less choppy. Yes, this thing is fat and heavier than Samsung's premium offerings and the plastic panel in the back is nasty looking compared to the aluminum body in the Samsung QLEDs, but who cares especially if you mount this stuff. The most important part is the picture quality, and Sony Bravia has Samsung beat. As an extra added feature, the built in Google Chromecast OS is super fast and zippy. The Voice Remote feature is really neat. This is a big improvement over the subpar choppy Tizen OS in Samsung's TVs and buggy apps that would never load. You can also search for stuff on Google using the remote and use it to easily load any apps or play music with voice commands. The screensaver function is pretty cool too. Snag this deal while you can during Black Friday. This is an amazing bang for your buck!

Son and Samsung are, IMHO, the finest TV sets currently on the market. This is certainly not the top of the line Sony, but it is nonetheless a stunning picture. Bought this for a friend who now lives alone, and she is thrilled as can be. Color is beautiful (changed to Vivid mode as it makes the picture just "pop" off the screen. Was worried that might be some judder or other problems with fast paced sporting events but so far no problems. The streaming interface is very intuitive, and the enclosed IR blaster makes the remote extremely easy to use with a cable box. We have a number of TVs at our home, both Sonys and Samsungs. Ours are a a generation or so older (minimum one year - maximum 3 year) but the pictures are comparable even though this one was significantly lower in price. A good buy at $899.99. Luckily got it on sale for $699.99. A steal at that price. Highly recommended.

I had been looking for TVs for a couple of months and I narrowed it down to this TV and it was on sale at the time I was looking, for $200 off. I decided to wait until Black Friday sales, but Best Buy put it on sale for $500 off and I jumped on it. Had it delivered for free.I was doing installation and set up which was very easy. So far I love it, has great picture and with all the extras I needed and at a great price.

We live in a rural area and can’t get cable tv and internet unless we pay $12,000 and our neighbors have it 4 houses down either side of us. With this being said we have an antenna, and we still have a great clear picture. The setup was easy, and the remote is easy to navigate. This TV was purchased for our media room in our new home. We still have our old Sony TV in our great room that we purchased almost 11 years ago and it’s still going strong.

Usually, I'm an LG guy, but I went with this Sony and am very pleased with it. Excellent picture quality, ease of setup and use, fantastic sound. Has all the hookups you need and the smart remote makes it a winner. I added a good quality surge protector which I think is a must for any of your home theatre setups. Works great with my Klipsch sound bar too! I would totally recommend this for those want to jump to 65"

I only purchase Sony Smart TV's for my main areas of my home. The picture is beautiful. No need to purchase a ROKU or Firestick as the Google Play Store app on the TV allows you to access as many apps as you can imagine. I have other smart tv's for guest rooms etc that only allow access to the preloaded apps or you have to add a roku or firestick to get more. The remote controls in app channel changes with ease. I have a standard keyboard and mouse connected wirelessly through the usb which is a nice upgrade. The remote also features a voice control that is convenient. I haven't messed around with the sound yet as I plan on getting a soundbar.

I have been a vizio fan since 2012. I have tried samsung, Toshiba, sharp and I hate them all. I bought a 49inch song tv for my room and I fell in love. The colour is AMAZING. Red on this TV is very intense. I LOVE IT. I know sony TVS are expensive but I HAD TO BUY THE 65INCH FOR MY LIVING ROOM during the black Friday sale period. The 4k resolution is very mind pleasing. I DON'T THINK I CAN EVER GO BACK TO VIZIO. The voice control with google home is a major plus. The sound on this tv is so good. It also mimics surround sound. You really don't need a sound bar. My only issue is that Android TV doesn't support HBO and showtime with Xfinity.

Best TV I have ever owned! The display looks great across all forms of input. It will optimize itself when it detects my Playstation 4 Pro, providing a high quality gaming experience with almost no adjustment needed as it does it itself. Hooking up a Sony sound bar is also easy and the two devices will set themselves up with a few button presses on the remote. With a hard wired ethernet internet connection, I am able to watch every major streaming app without any hiccups. Installing apps is simple with Android TV, and logging in to my Google account syncs any purchased media across my phone, laptop, and the TV.

Owned it for a week. So far so good. Crisp picture, vivid color. Sound coming from the tv is pretty good for a wall mounted flat screen. There is a slight drag when watching sports, so the hockey guys look like blobs with shadows during fast movement. Not enough to make it a deal breaker. The preloaded apps were everything we had on the Roku. The voice activated remote takes some adjustment to find out the proper commands, then again I’m very used to the Alexa devices. Can’t get enough watching movies on this 65”! It just enhances the experience.

If your on a budget and can’t afford those high end 4K TVs, then this bad boy will definitely do. I know theres a newer model out there but I just couldn’t pull the trigger on their price. Placed this one in our living room and noticed the difference right off the bat. Netflix, Prime, 4K DVDs and Xbox all look amazing. Read the reviews, compare prices and buy yourself a good DVD player for this TV and you’ll be happy with your purchase.

Love Sony, bought this to upgrade to 4K. Have owned 3 Sony TV’s prior to this purchase (still have 2 of them in spare rooms) and there all great. Their are definitely better units, but for the price (bought on sale) you can’t beat it for getting your feet wet with 4K. Setup includes Pioneer Elite receiver and Xbox One X for 4K Blu Ray disc. Everything hooked up great and works perfectly.

This replaces a 40" Toshiba (which is 4 yrs old and working fine) in our living room. Have not made any picture adjustment so far. So, is at "factory default" for now. Otherwise, the TV is has been working without any issues. Volume from the TV speakers is great in comparison to the Toshiba. Still need to buy a Sound Bar, to get a higher quality sound. The remote is very old fashion looking, but functional and easy to use. Did not hook up the TV to Wi-Fi, since I have a Roku box. So far, I've been very happy with my purchase. For the money, this Sony is a great value.

I was sure when I went into Best Buy, I was going to get a Samsung TV, as all of my TV's are Samsung. But once I talked to the Best Buy employee he schooled me on the difference between Samsung and Sony's tv. This TV has a GREAT picture and the remote has a Netflix button on it. Makes bringing up Netflix a lot easier. I have no complaints and it was a few hundred dollars cheaper than the Samsung TV that has the same features. Sony may be my new brand.
