Problem after 2 weeks

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this new and installed on wall mount. 2 weeks (and a day, too late for Best Buy return) it developed a vertical line, one pixel in width, from top to bottom. Had to deal directly with Sony. After passing along pictures and description of the problem, they sent out a new one. The pain was since we installed the old one we had to dismount it and put the new one back up. Sony then came back for the old one. The transfer process otherwise went very smoothly but I am deeply disappointed in the initial quality which is why I bought Sony in the first place. Fingers crossed that this one doesn't present any problems. Otherwise, very happy with the picture quality although the sound leaves a little to be desired. I have a sound bar which helps a lot. Have an external antenna for over the air and Sling/Netflix. Very happy with the remote which runs everything and provides a grid guide for the over the air stations.

Good basic TV but we decided to returned it.

My old TV was 120Hz but 7 years old so we thought the newer tv's should be better even though the refresh rate was less. On the first day, we noticed motion blurring during an action movie. We packed it back up and returned it. We now have a 55'' Sony A8H OLED.

Settings > TV category, select Picture & Display or Display & Sound > Picture adjustments > Advanced settings > Motion > Off. If your TV has CineMotion setting, set it to Low or Off.
