I was researching for awhile and this TV does not get the best Black levels in a dark room(No local dimming) but It has a very good picture and all the Picture settings and icing on the top it has an ATSC 3.0 tuner.

The picture quality is excellent and the colors look amazing once calibrated. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that I had to return the first one because the LCD panel was damaged. Not sure if it was Sony or Best Buy's fault. Best Buy made things right though by allowing me to exchange them. If only the exchange process could be done at home.

Only minor issue and that if you have a sounder you'll need to turn off the bluetooth otherwise the remote will not be able to control the sound of the sounder (in my case Sonos).

The picture is fantastic. Can't go wrong with Sony's imaging magic. However Google TV baked in is causing a ton of issues. The tv will randomly throw you out of a service/program to the main screen OFTEN. It could take 4 attempts to get Hulu or Netflix to open, just force closing itself. I don't think this is a Sony issue but a Google issue. I had this issue on a previous tv. I deal with the issues because the TV image is great. A separate 4k chromecast eliminated the problem but you shouldn't need it if the force close issue was fixed. Materials - come on Sony...this tv has more flex to the frame than I'd like. You have to be extra careful when moving this tv. You can press in on the edges and easily see flexing in the body and screen of the tv. Such a mixed bag at this price point.

However, sometimes gets stuck or won't open certain apps like Hulu on the first/second try. Also, this weird thing happens where sometimes movies will start playing (background music will work) but no voice audio. Have to restart TV and usually it starts to work. Happens with multiple apps so I'm not sure where the issue is coming from.

The picture is very beautiful but the screen has a terrible glare that makes it hard to see the picture if the sun is shining into the room or the lights are on. The front of the TV is like a mirror. The other problem is the TV always comes up in google mode and I have to use both remotes, my TV remote to get get it to cable then my cable remote.
