4 Dead 65" Sony TVs in 3 years

Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased New: 05.06.2021 Died (no power no light): 04.2023 This is the 4th Sony 65" TV I've lost in 3 years. 65X80J (Sunroom - Main Residence) 65X800H (Master Bedroom - Main Residence) 65X800H (Family Room - Lake Cabin) 65X950H (Family Room - Lake Cabin) - Yes the replacement died too. All same issue, one day they no longer power on and no amount of time left unplugged, reset procedures, different outlets, etc... will bring life back into them. All rotting at the bottom of a landfill somewhere. Switched to LG and never looking back. Sony your customers expect better from you, be better.

We are sorry if our X80J doesn't support the Spectrum TV app. However, as an alternative, if your phone or tablet supports Chromecast, you can simply use this feature from the Spectrum TV app to cast the content to this TV. We greatly appreciate your feedback with this streaming application.

We Already have couple older Sony TVs and never had any problems. We went to look at the resolution quality at Best Buy before we made an online order. Very good TV!!

It's bright enough to overcome glare in darker & moderately-lit rooms. It has wide viewing angles which keeps images pretty accurate, so this TV can be used to entertain enough people in a big room. I bought a 65" for my living room and a 55" for my basement and both are working pretty good...

Sony 65X80J

Our previous TV was a Sony 46” slimline Z series(I think) that we purchased when Circuit City was closing down around 2009 and it just died recently after many years of hard usage. We are hoping our new 65” Sony will last us just as long.
