Disappointed in the "promoted" Service

Also, the Purchase Promotion had stated delivery and installation included. as I did not want to wait ten (10) days for the delivery, I installed the TV. Upon finding that the TV would not synchronize with our Surround Sound System or Cable Box Remote, I contacted BestBuy to have the Unit installed only to be advised that the "installation" does not include the "setup" of the Unit.

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was happy to get a SONY again, this time x80j to replace my 10=year-old Sony 46v bravia, but unfortunately the one i have received was defective... the screen brightness was flickering after a an hour or so, even after reboot and switching off all sorts of sensors. I had to return it and get an LG UP7000 instead. Not happy, even if it is $300 less. I really wanted a sony. Construction-wise, the Sony is heavier, but also built with softer plastics compared to the LG, in other words, not as sturdy especially around the screen. The OS on the sony is better than the LG for sure. Picture quality wise, the LG is more accurate (better calibrated) right out of the box, but I am sure the Sony is capable of matching it by playing with the settings. Reflections are less annoying on the LG than on the Sony. Hope these observations can help someone make a choice!

Make sure both the TV and other device are turned on.
While turned on, unplug the power cords for the TV and device from the electrical outlet.
Disconnect the HDMI cables from the TV and other product.
Wait 60 seconds.
While the HDMI cables are disconnected, plug the power cords back into the electrical outlet.
Turn on the TV.
Re-connect the HDMI cables.
Turn on the HDMI-connected product.
Also, You can configure various settings related to the TV display such as color and brightness for picture quality, or screen size. Press the (Quick Settings) button on the remote control, then select [Settings] — [Display & Sound] — the desired option.
The TV should now detect the HDMI signal from the connected device and operate normally. If there is still a problem, disconnect the HDMI cable from both products and then reconnect it in the opposite direction. In some situations, this has been reported to resolve connection issues.

It was just sitting there wouldn’t go to last channel. We had to hit xfinity but it fixed itself and now it goes to last channel after a minute.

However, I started receiving 3-5 spam texts per day after providing my phone number for delivery. They're still coming. I'm almost certain it is due to this Best Buy purchase because several of them refer to Best Buy purchases I didn't make. This phone number is now contaminated indefinitely.
