    So far so good. Decided to purchase a Sony after LG I purchased died after a year. I previously bought a LG that has lasted over 20 years. Not sure what happened this time. It was a more expensive tv. Disappointed to learn that you have to have services that provide 4 k to get that pretty picture that made me purchase in the store.

To watch 4K, you'll need a 4K content, a 4K streaming device, 4K compatible HDMI cable and high internet speed to enjoy 4K/HDR content at its best quality.       Also, with the X1 processor images filmed in 2K and even in HD are upscaled close to 4K levels of detail by 4K X-Reality Pro using a unique 4K database. This is done automatically. No need to adjust settings per content unless you prefer a customized setting that suits your needs.     I feel like I got a good deal on a great TV. Having Google TV built in was a weird prerequisite I had for a new unit, and was pleasantly surprised to see this one available. It is a LOVELY TV, really nice picture quality, and Google TV integration is clutch. Really happy with this purchase and hope to have this TV for quite some time.
