    TV was great when first set-up, but quickly degraded with noticeable vertical bands of brighter light across the screen. Sony said it was normal, no issue, not a warranty issue. Adjusted settings to minimize that and moved on. Over time, those bands got more and more noticeable, then a couple days ago, after it was working "fine" the night before, I turn it on to find a cluster of bright pink pixels in the top right quadrant, and the full 3/4 of the screen below those pixels was unwatchable/glitchy/lower quality than the top 1/4 of the TV. Called Sony, sure enough... panel is fried, a little over 2 years after buying it and not covered under any warranty. Even if it was, panel is discontinued so it couldn't be fixed. Buying another TV, will never buy another Sony product again.
