    Won’t connect to wifi

    The tv keeps on disconnecting from internet even when I click to connect to wifi. We have to restart it every day to connect to wifi. Calling tomorrow to see if the tv is defective.

    Bought this TV to replace my Samsung that I’ve had for years. Picture quality is not that good. On day 2 of using it, black thin lines appeared on the screen. Returned it for another Samsung.

You can configure various settings related to the TV display such as color and brightness for picture quality and select the appropriate picture mode for your Google TV according to the content you are watching to enhance your viewing experience.

      We regret to know that the unit had to be returned. We'd like to confirm if the lines are visible on other external sources (such as cable or satellite box, internet video device, or other devices like a DVD player) and even on the Home screen menu that caused you to return the unit.

    I just got my tv 2 days ago turned it on today and now I have no volume. It was working fine until no volume.. I have picture just no volume.. Has another else had this problem?

    Horrible. Tv came with no remote, stand, power cord, or instructions. Tv shut off and didn’t start. Returned! Terrible quality control

If you purchased a brand-new (not open box) Sony BRAVIA TV, it should have all the accessories inside the box. The TV also comes with a 1-year manufacturing warranty. If there is an issue with the unit right after receiving it, the seller can replace the unit right away.

    After many months of research and working on a budget, I purchased the X85J. I could not be any happier. The color (after making personal adjustments) is spectacular. The picture options are plentiful and give the viewer a number of different views of a movie, game, etc. Navigating through the settings could not be easier, with many choices to change a plethora of options. I highly recommend the Sony X85J.

    The Gateway TV

    Although this is a "budget" TV, it is the perfect gateway into the AV world. Do some research on best settings and spend some time making this TV look pretty to your eyes and you will be amazed. I never use the TV speakers, always connected to my receiver.

      Picture quality will depend on the source that you're playing. So for example, when a video in standard quality is being scaled up and played back, the quality will look poor, even on an HDTV. A video must have high definition quality to be played back at high quality on an HDTV. A video with SD quality cannot be converted to high definition quality or displayed in standard resolution without stretching. However, by adjusting the Sharpness and Picture Mode of the TV, the quality can be improved. You may also try to play a different source to isolate the issue like Youtube, Netflix or other streaming platform.

    The picture is amazing and the Google TV interface works great. You just have to be sitting right in front of it. Color washes out pretty quickly from the sides. If you have a wide seating arrangement, you might want to look for something with a better viewing angle.

    The TV has a good picture and is easy to use. We are using internet/apps and a DirecTV account. My main concern is blurry/ghosting with fast moving objects like footballs etc. What are the best settings to adjust for this? Motionflow? Picture Mode?

    Great picture. Easy account and device setup. Enjoying the "smarts" of Google TV. No issues with reliability. Sound is better than expected from some online reviews. A little trouble with HDMI input from an older Wii game machine as this set has lost the older input port types like component and s-video. As to the Wii problem, use HDMI port 1 or 2. Wish Sony made a 70" set as that would have just filled my available space. Has the new NextGen ATSC 3.0 tuner I think?
