This is my first sound system that's not a Home Theater in a Box and the quality improvement is quite noticeable. I pair this with a 5.1 set of Onkyo speakers and everything sounds great. Plenty of inputs and outputs, and more features than I'll probably ever use. I was lucky enough to get it on clearance when they were getting the next year's models in.

I mated this unit with Sony XBR75X850D. It took several phone calls with Sony to get the cable connections correct but now it is working great. The Sony telephone technical assistance was helpful. The on-screen "easy set-up" was helpful. The on-line help manual did not provide helpful information during set-up.

Great quality product that I got for a steal of a price!

This is the first receiver that I've purchased. Bought this to pair with my Bravia TV, Klipsch Quintet surround speakers and Klipsch 12" subwoofer sounds and looks like I'm in an IMAX theater in my man cave. Going to buy two bookshelf speaker to use the zone 2 feature.

Everything is great. We are using it with a projector and there is a lag when we change inputs. Sometimes it is so much of a lag that the video signal to the projector cuts off for 20 seconds trying to find the HDMI video feed. Still works great just sometimes difficulty switching inputs.

So this unit sounds great but do you really need the tv on when listening to music No manual tuning except with the tv on really I have always like Sony reliability and quality but this is just sad

Does everything it should. Takes a minute to learn how the dual room setup works but I now have it connected to a main TV and a Projector and can switch sources easily. Songpal app is key to getting the most out of it.

This is my second Samsung 32 inch smart TV from Best Buy. Had one in my bedroom at home and bought another for my condo at the beach. Have had very good experience with Samsung products. Also good value.

I bought this receiver for my home theater. I connect several devices to the receiver and finding one that had all the inputs I needed was important. This receiver provided those inputs. The GUI could use a little work.

Even though I am using it primarily to run my home theater speakers, the capabilities beyond that are excellent. It is way more than I need, but was such a good buy at Best Buy, I couldn't refuse.

I purchased this to pair with my Sony TV and it works awesome together. The pairing up to my smartphone to play music is great feature. Plus streaming Spotifyfrom the unit itself is perfect.

Very easy to set up and I'm a woman, though I do have a technical degree. It was up and running in an hour or so. It took me longer to swap the wires from my very old Sony receiver to this new one. Sound is very good and my pretty old Sony TV's picture looks MUCH better. Bluetooth works like a charm too, both as a transmitter and a receiver. So now I don't need any adapters to connect my Sony MDR1RBT bluetooth headphone to the TV, which is great. My Polk speakers RTI A3 and CSI A6 sound amazing compare to how they sound before with my old receiver. Haven't tried Airplay nor network features except connecting it to my network and updating the system. I installed the SongPal on my iPhone too and it looks like it's working fine. You can stream music from iHeartRadio, Pandora and Spotify from your phone to your speakers. So for now I'm very happy with the receiver and hope it will work for many years as my old one (which is still working and it's more than 10 years old).

Paired this with a 78" curved 4K Ultra HD TV and theater seating with bass shaker for an amazing sound home theater experience!
