I'm very impressed with the ease of setup and the interface. Great sound and deep bass.

I just had to replace my last receiver because all the hdmi ports quit working! This unit had great speaker controls and works great with my 7.1 surround speakers. It is easy to set up and use!

great Power the sound is crystal clear the set up is eazy it brings my blue-ray disk to life.

We love this receiver. Had problems with the open box one we bought first. It didn't work , so I would avoid bb open box items because it appears they are not tested. This one is great though.

After purchasing 2 Sony 750 receivers, I realized they didn't offer 4K pass-thru (although Sony advertises it's possible) I needed to replace the non 4K units. This unit has 4K up scaling and pass thru. It offers multiple HDMI outs if you have additional TV's you want to view your media on. This unit also has plenty of HDMI inputs to satisfy most anyone's needs. Great unit if I had another room is buy 2 more.

I was able to get this discontinued receiver as an OPEN BOX item as it was a display item - full warrenty, just not in a box. I checked others ratings on this and even though the "start up" guide is brief, the on screen set up was very quick and easy. Having a 55" Sony Bravia TV makes synching up the remotes easy and integrated with the receiver. I love the picture quality of my Netflix, Cable and Blu-Ray movies with this system.

I do alot of research before making new purchases. I chose this receiver to go in my new home and will be buying new speakers for my home theater. This receiver received top picks at cnet

Easy set up, excellent sound (music, television and movie time). Plenty of watts to rock and roll and watch movies. My smart phone LG4 connects and works great with blue tooth or wifi. Earth quake and battle scenes rattle the apartment. Crisp clean sound (you can hear leaves crunch under the hobbits feet). Easy to make adjustments for movies, sound and music.. Bright clear picture.

I got this delivered yesterday. Unhooked my old 3d pass through Sony and hooked this up. Set up the speakers autosynch then the wireless no problem. Had a previous engagement to attend so I ran the firmware update while gone. Arrived home went to finish setup and couldn't get the TV signal to pass through when receiver was off. All functions would shut off when the amp was turned off. Went into the settings a little more and discovered that you have to turn passthrough on for it to work. Now everything is fine and the sound and especially the 4k passthrough from 4k Blu-ray player to TV is outstanding. The picture looks stunning and the Dolby x sound is great. I'll have to go back in and turn the center channel up some as all surround movies have to quite of a dialog and when action scenes come on everything else is to loud but that's how they all are. I am very satisfied with this purchase. The price was the main selling point last year's model instead of 599.00 239.00 what a deal. The only negative is that only one DHCP 2.2 input but only my Blu-ray is true 4k so not a big deal. Also the instructions could be better if someone without any tech experience would have a problem getting this up and running. Thanks best buy for the absolute awesome price on this great product.

Excellent product as expected from Sony. Little difficult figuring out how to sync our remotes but that's my only gripe.

This is my first audio receiver, but it works very well. The sound sent to the speakers seems very crisp for shows, games, and music. Giving 4 stars instead of 5 because the Bravia Sync doesn't seem to work every time with a Bravia TV and a PS3 and PS4. For example, when I turn on the PS3, the TV and receiver turn on as expected, but the receiver is automatically muted for some reason.

Needed to update old one and this one was what I needed. Too new to give a real review, but doing its job so far.

Spent a lot more for a " high end" Denon receiver that never was fully FunctIonal and was bought at a specialty store. Works very well with my Sony tv

We love it! Only downside is no display. At least we can't find it. Supposed to show up on screen. Maybe it's set up wrong but with no manual, not sure. & frustrating power save turns off after a bit of paused tv. Can't turn feature off because of no display or manual. Besides that, it makes everything work well & pushes lots of power into speakers.

After a few weeks of research & figuring which receiver had the best options for my family, I opted for the Strdn1060 with WIFI, BT, HDMI pass through. It was a nice surprise to find out my older Sony receiver can be used in bi-amp mode. It doesn't come with a full manual. It's easier having digital downloaded Manuals.

I had a little trouble going through the steps needed to set up all the devices and will get it mastered in the future

My Pioneer receiver bit the dust after a bad thunderstorm. The Salesman at the local Best Buy recommended this receiver for a moderate cost due to it being replaced by a newer model with the same features. I found it easy to set up and configure. Would definitely consider another SONY in the future.

It connects with all my wireless Equpment ... No problem at any time.
