Overall: This TV is some value. If you are looking for a large screen TV you really cannot go wrong with this one. The picture on this is stunning, just gorgeous. There are ample inputs, the interface is very intuitive, and it's 3d if you want to buy the glasses. That's a lot of bang for the buck. Nice job Sony! Picture: Incredible detail, brilliant colors, nice contrasts. Only issue is some very noticeable vertical banding especially on sports. Otherwise, it would be 5 starts. Sound: Not sure, we have it hooked up to a sound bar but I am sure its like all the other LED TVs out there. It has optical out, which is nice. Inputs: Plenty of inputs, which is important considering the age of appleTV/roku, video games, tv boxes, etc etc. 4 cdmi (one is ARC), plus usb, plus optical sound. Apps: Love the interface (Just press Home button), easy to get to apps like netflix, vudu, etc. You probably won't need a roku since this has just about everything already. Easy to set up. No manual needed. Responsiveness: Switching inputs needs some work. The input button on the remote works randomly. The home button on the other hand is very responsive and you can switch inputs from that screen. Minor inconvenience. Google: Updates take tens of minutes and there is no progress bar, just a spinner. Would like to see a progress bar on long updates so that I know the TV isn't hung up.

Like most Sony TV's, it is a great performer at a reasonable price. And also like most Sony TV's, its Wi-Fi module leaves something to be desired. It constantly loses its network connection and at times just doesn't work. Be prepared for many service calls.

This item was an older model that was deeply discounted. 1/2 price for a 75" tv I couldnt pass it up. I watch regular tv stations and directv with very little nerflix and no gaming. So far so good, but there is lots of little quirks that taking getting used to that I dont like. The sound on commercials, tv shows, movies all change. My old Samsung didnt need me to change the volume anytime i changed stations like I find myself doing with this tv. Also there seems to be some color brightness changes during movies, right in the middle of a scene the tone changes darker ever so lightly, but noticable. Doesnt happen for every show, so waiting to see if this is a regular thing or a problem with the tv.

Had to have the first TV exchanged after 10 days. One green pixel on the screen. I seriously hope it doesn't happen again. Otherwise love it! Thank you geek squad for expediting the exchange . I have the extended warranty , so no worries.

No issues with this TV other then the android operating system likes to update at the most inconvenient times.... probably a setting I can adjust but I haven't read the manuals :)

We were ready to upgrade from our 50" to something larger. This TV was exactly what we were looking for. Puts off almost no heat, compared to the plasma we used to have.
