This is a HUGE TV and it looks really great. Best Buy didn't have this one in it's showroom, but looking at other TVs, I really liked the look of Sony's the most. This one hasn't disappointed. I like the sideview app that let's me do speak search to find videos and then bring it up on the TV. The only bad thing is after spending a day watching this TV, it has made my 42 inch TV in my bedroom seem tiny!

in the middle of the football game picture went out but sound was still there. unpluged tv to reboot, then i had nothing after. returned tv for a vizio.

Red vertical line whenever there is a black screen. Thank god it was still under warranty, Sony is sending an advance replacement.

I had been watching TV prices and reviews on brands for months to purchase a new TV for my future "Theater Room". I think I got lucky with the price on this one during Labor Day weekend they had the price dropped to $1,999.00 and I couldn't say no. In one work: fantastic! My first smart TV, and my first TV over 42", so I can't compare to anything other than what is on the BB walls, but I love it! The picture is amazing, whether watching BR discs, Netflix, or using as a 2nd monitor for my computer. The bad. Every so often when I turn the TV on, the picture doesn't show up. I can press buttons, and I hear the TV responding to the button press, but the screen is black. To fix this, I just turn the TV off/on and it will work fine - but a little pain. The other item is Netflix doesn't keep me logged in all the time, every one in awhile it will log me out, or give an error that I have to exit my user and check back in. Overall though, a terrific purchase for myself. It will be in my den for YEARS (I am the kind of guy that kept my flip phone for years after smart phones came out!).

Purchased a 75 inch sony tv...remote was not with tv when installed by their staff...They would not provide me with a remote...I had to purchase it...First time making a large purchase from Best Buy...I will not be making any future purchases based on this experience

It's worked well for approx 3 weeks but today it went totally dead , not sure why ?

After extensive review on several different TV's, I stepped into Best Buy with the intention of buying a Samsung with similar specs, but after looking at the picture side by side, walked away with this model. I was not disappointed! The picture quality is amazing, and the size is ridiculous! Bezel is almost non existent, which really makes it look sleek and slim. The stand initially felt a little too wobbly for the size of the TV, and with a couple of big dogs running around the house, I was apprehensive, but it's much sturdier than it looks. Sound quality is typical of these newer big screens, so a sound bar is definitely recommended. My one issue is the Crackle app that comes pre-installed, and pops up randomly, at the most inconvenient times. I had to completely disable it to make it stop. Overall, this TV is worth every penny and I've already recommended to multiple friends. Keep an eye on the price tag after buying, as it fluctuates pretty frequently. It dropped by several hundred dollars after I had already purchased, and Best Buy price matched it right away, and I quickly saw a credit on my account. Made this buy even better!

So I originally purchased a 4K Samsung UN65JU6500 (which I returned) & while the 4K in store demo looked beautiful, it was a whole different story at home watching cable channels. The 4K upscaling seemed to overcompensate & made pictures look unnatural & also added a somewhat robotic view to motion scenes, basically they were not fluid. This tv while not 4K gives a way better picture & absolutely gorgeous colors & contrast ratios. That's out the box with minimal setting adjustments, however I think I can really dial it in by following these guides: http://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/sony/w850c/settings Pros: Great picture, contrast ratio, clarity & the added Android OS is a plus Cons: Not the best sound but to be honest most built in tv speakers aren't

I researched for months, 4K was not for me for now.This KDL75W850C 75 inch TV is Awsome. On Sale Now, great Price, free delivery.No issues with screen, Pixels,Banding, Picture is amazing. I could not of been Happier about this Purchase.Had a couple friends help hang this Beast on the wall. They were shocked when they saw ,Soccer, Boxing and The Belmount.They both are going to get this TV for there Man Cave.All they could say was WOW. If you are ready for Texas size TV this is for you,,,,Sony ,,,,, This TV is Awsome. Thanks

We bought this tv to upgrade our 55 inch sony 3d tv. Man, what a great picture!!! Love the features, ease of use, and just the look of the tv. Great addition to our living room!!! Only problem is we can't find the 3d glasses for this tv. The glasses that we had for our other Sony tv will not work with this one...

Connect to the internet and it is like a HD computer, the picture is vibrant and crisp. Watch Blu-ray movies at their hightest level of detail. Easy to stream movies and music...Easy set up with home theater.. Love it...

I originally followed a relative's advice and bought a 65 inch Vizio 1080p. They thought I would really enjoy the larger screen. I got the Vizio home and at first liked the choice...until I started noticing picture graininess and also sticking pixels. Also, the Vizio turned out to be way too big for my room. I returned the Vizio and then went with what I knew I would be a great tv...the Sony. I went back to the 50 inch size which fits my room perfectly. The picture is spectacular with crisp details, no motion blur and accurate color right out of the box. Very pleased with this set. Also, I only paid $698 for it.
